Social Media & Community Engagement Coordinator
deepwatch is seeking a Social Media and Community Engagement Coordinator to support the marketing growth team within the marketing department. This position is responsible for managing all social media accounts and engaging in online communities as the voice of deepwatch. Working closely with cross-functional team members the Social Media & Community Engagement Coordinator will draft and post organic content, monitor and reply to followers, actively participate in wider community discussions and provide detailed reporting on content performance. This person will also have to analyze account performance, create strategic content plans in conjunction with the growth team and provide recommendations on how to optimize performance.
This is a 100% remote role that can be based anywhere within the continental U.S.
Position Responsibilities

  • Set up, optimize and scale social media channels, with a focus on LinkedIn, Twitter, Reddit, YouTube, Discord and more
  • Develop dynamic and compelling social content, both visual and contextual, by collaborating with the creative team
  • Generate weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reports for all metrics, goals, and KPIs.
  • Build out user insights to construct future content and increase conversions
  • Monitor all online channels to look for opportunities to incorporate deepwatch and its services and products into the conversation in a helpful way, and spread awareness
  • Identify, follow and engage with industry thought leaders, influencers, etc. to increase brand recognition
  • Create monthly social media content calendars, and strategically organize by subject matter, audience and goals
  • Gather feedback and comments from the community to be reviewed in other departments to improve services, process and offerings

Requirements
Required Experience, Skills, and Knowledge

  • 1-3 years experience in a Social Media and Community Engagement role
  • 1+ years experience with LinkedIn, Twitter, Redditt, YouTube and Discord
  • Knowledge of social media best practices
  • Ability to think strategically and analytically to report on business objectives
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Have strong work ethic, be highly responsive, and be dedicated to program results
  • Highly organized and able to plan and create content calendars.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and be flexible within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work cross functionally and collaborate with team members to execute social programs.
  • BS/BA in Marketing is preferred


Preferred Experience, Skills, and Knowledge

  • Cybersecurity experience
  • Experience using Hubspot and Google Analytics


Colorado Candidates:
Minimum salary of forty four thousand dollars + bonus + stock options + benefits. Actual compensation may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
*Note: Disclosure as required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum salary compensation for this role when working remotely from the state of Colorado.
