About the job
This position is needed to support Twilio.org’s growing grant making, impact investing, and employee impact programs. The opportunity is ideal for someone early in their career who wants to help Twilio use its assets to make a positive impact in the world. Twilio.org team works across Twilio’s technology, funding, and employees to improve the lives of over 450 million people globally per year. As the Social Impact Coordinator, you will report to the Director of Social Impact and be a member of the Funding & Engagement team. This team is responsible for Twilio’s multi-million dollar Impact Fund and marquee employee impact initiative, WePledge 1%. This position will be essential to the success and effectiveness of the team by providing operational, administrative and customer service support across our programs. 

Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:

  • Support the administration of Impact Fund grants, impact investments, matching gift requests, and volunteer programs
  • Provide customer service support to employees and charitable partners 
  • Assist in management of global volunteer committees, budget and activities 
  • Maintain and increase engagement across communication channels, including the employee volunteer and giving platform, intranet, email aliases and slack channels
  • Facilitate procurement, legal and budget processes
  • Conduct research, literature reviews, and background exploration to inform future programming
  • Manage weekly, monthly and quarterly reports, and communicate how we’re tracking toward our goals

Required:

  • 2-4 years of related administrative, project management and operational work experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; A passion for developing and nurturing relationships 
  • Ability to learn quickly, manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines 
  • Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Strong desire to contribute to a collaborative team, dive in where needed, and offer excellent service to our customers
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, passion for innovation, and a commitment to driving positive social change
  • Expertise in data management and reporting

Desired:

  • Experience working in a tech, nonprofit, corporate social responsibility, or social impact context
  • Volunteer and/or nonprofit board experience
  • Demonstrated interest in and passion for social impact
  • Technical acumen

Location 
This role will be a hybrid of remote and in office (when we can return safely)

  • The estimated pay range for this role, based in Colorado, is $54,152- $77,360
  • Non-Sales: Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state. This role is also eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
