The Opportunity
The Marketing Manager is primarily responsible for development, execution, analysis and optimization of omni-channel marketing programs for SMB merchants in Afterpay’s North America regions of the US and Canada. This hire will be accountable for launching, monitoring, and analysis of demand and lifecycle programs to drive new merchants and retention of existing merchants for Afterpay's’s suite of products. The role will work closely with the Global Demand Generation Lead, Global Engagement Lead, and internal and external stakeholders to develop and optimize regional programs. Project managing is crucial for success in this role with a clear attention to detail in executing multiple campaigns at a time. Afterpay’s integrated campaigns leverage content, email, web, webinars, and more to hit quarterly engagement goals. 

We are much more than our job descriptions, but here’s where you will begin….
Development of regional specific programs to drive qualified leads
Develop and execute omnichannel launch programs with new and existing merchants
Execution and analysis of integrated campaigns and demand generation programs to drive new customer engagement. Consolidate input from internal and external stakeholders, creating a cohesive vision for campaigns
Build campaign audiences using segmentation information from Product Marketing, database, personas, and external analysis
Work within marketing to ensure webinars and other thought leadership platforms are part of integrated campaigns and speak to specific campaign themes and audience
Identify key opportunities to drive demand generation through webinars, partnerships, and events
Build and execute nurture campaigns for customers for customer appreciation and cross/upsell, and consultants for thought leadership/awareness
Development, launch and optimize engagement programs to accelerate transactions for our merchant partners
Develop market leading programs to empower merchants to drive conversion
Build referral partnerships in North America to drive both new leads and cross-sell new products and features. 
Provide reports and dashboards tracking campaign performance to management
Leverage positioning, value propositions, and key messaging to be used in marketing campaigns and programs
Analyze and communicate regional results in order to rapidly scale successful programs and learnings
Create and produce marketing collateral for all local marketing initiatives including F2F initiatives, CRM and landing pages. Global COE will produce and execute campaigns through Marketo. 
Manage the local execution and rollout of new products including sales collateral and landing page builds

Who are you? (Qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
5-7 years of B2B demand generation experience in SaaS and/or e-commerce, retail
Extensive experience in the development of creative campaigns and execution of email marketing, social advertising, content, SEM, and paid digital programs
Strong reporting capabilities with the ability to track campaign performance and associated spend down to the most granular details while providing roll-up reporting to senior management
Strong analytical skills and ability to make commercially impactful recommendations based on the data
Collaborate with local sales teams for training programs, sales enablement and lead tracking
Creative approach to developing campaigns and strong verbal and written communications skills a must
Strong ability to learn new products and solutions and translate value drivers to target audiences
The ability to partner with global professionals at the top of their game
Performance-driven culture and team-oriented approach

Experience effectively leveraging tools such a Salesforce, Marketo, Pardot or other marketing analytics tools.
