The SEO Specialist will play a key role within the Acquisition Marketing team. This person will coordinate across lines of business to develop website behavior and SEO requirements based on business objectives. 

This role can be based out of our New York City office or remotely in the North America region.

What you’ll do

  • Perform keyword research and content/keyword mapping
  • Support experimentation by managing backlog and cataloging and communicating results
  • Assist in publication of pages, site-level optimizations, improve site structure, page construction, and SEO targeting
  • Manage larger enterprise wide SEO projects that span over many months or departments
  • Monitor SEO performance by using SEM Rush, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, ahrefs and other analysis platforms
  • Create deliverables for internal stakeholders providing clear analysis and basic insights into SEO, CRO, and accessibility best practices
  • Develop and hone a deep understanding of SEO best practices
  • Success will be defined by improvement in quantitative metrics (indexing, ranking, bounce rates, etc) and qualitative contributions to the team (collaboration, operational efficiency)

About you

  • 1+ years of digital marketing experience
  • Experience working with a CMS platform (markdown or HTML is a plus)
  • Exposure to a web analytics platform (Google Analytics and/or Search Console preferred)
  • Well-honed data management skills (Experience with Excel/Google Sheets required; Tableau or other visualization exposure is preferred)
  • Strong sense of curiosity and high attention to detail 
  • A Bachelor’s Degree within Marketing, Business, or Information Sciences field is a plus
  • No previous SEO experience required, but exposure to digital marketing will help. SEO is always evolving and the learning process is never complete
