Browse the Aisles: Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing overall strategy that delivers qualified traffic through organic search channels. Responsibilities include SEO optimization conversion rate and optimization for customer journey in search channels, including landing page strategy. The SEO Associate will work closely with content managers, other channel owners, product managers, web designers, digital merchandising, and web developers to ensure digital presence is fully optimized for organic search. This Associate will also be responsible for ensuring that all SEO activity is aligned with and fully supports the seasonal retail calendar and commercial planning process as well as consistent with Brand eCommerce and Digital objectives.
Recipe for Success - What's "In Store" for the Role
- Plan, develop and implement paid and earned search engine strategy, working with Brand partners and other eCommerce channel owners to deliver traffic and order goals
- Fully own organic search optimization and ROI maximization for all digital and eCommerce activity for Ahold Delhaize Brands
- Regularly perform thorough keywords research to guide onsite content development that optimizes SEO and pay per click campaigns-Identify key SEO KPIs
- Partner with content creators to ensure content is distributed effectively, generates leads, and improves SEO
- Proactively work with web developers to optimize website on a continuous basis and implement SEO best practices
- Monitor redirects, click rate, bounce rate, and other KPIs on daily / weekly basis; prepare and present reports regularly with clear recommendations
- Create an A/B testing roadmap, collaborate with product, marketing, and digital merchandising teams, and execute and report on tests
- Identify our buyer persona to better target identified audiences
- Identify problems and deficiency and implement solutions in a timely manner
- Suggest improvements for process and productivity optimization
- Stay up to date with the latest SEO and digital marketing latest trends and best practices
- Ensure all campaigns run smoothly, on-schedule, and within scope, while maintaining strong communication across teams and stakeholders
- Manage SEO agency relationships as required
The Essentials In Your Cart - The Required Ingredients
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- Experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics
- Advanced knowledge in pay per click (Paid Search) strategy, tactics and execution
- Knowledge of HTML,CSS, JavaScript

- Strong understanding of marketing technology capabilities and ability to lead/leverage
- Up-to-date with latest trends and best practices in online marketing
- Highly profficient in Microsoft Office knowledge
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint required
- Knowledge of SEO ranking tactics and how to build content that enhances SEO results
- Bing knowledgeable
