The SEO Analyst is responsible for executing day-to-day management, optimization, and analysis of assigned accounts. The SEO Analyst displays eagerness to learn, attention to detail, connectivity to the team, and actively brings new ideas to discussion on how to further improve processes and optimization efforts. The role is responsible for his/her own primary accounts, supporting accounts for the SEO Strategist or Manager and actively bringing SEO performance concerns to the SEO Strategist or Manager as needed.

Requirements

Execution of SEO Tactics for Primary & Supporting Accounts

• Eagerness to learn about new SEO tactics and processes
• Implementation of strategic account roadmap tasks provided by SEO Manager or SEO Strategist
• Input on the development of strategic roadmaps for accounts being owned or supported
• Ownership and autonomy over assigned primary accounts (~4-6 total accounts in the lower tier of SEO spending relative to other Adept accounts)

Campaign Insights & Optimization

• Ability to monitor and report internally on SEO KPIs
• Help inform optimization needs based on data
• Demonstrated ability to pull, organize, visualize, and extract high-level findings from data

Monitor and Ensure Success for Primary Accounts

• Monitor the success of primary accounts against determined KPIs
• Proactively bring potential performance issues to the SEO Manager and/or Strategist on the account for primary accounts for additional support, insight and analysis
• Work autonomously to optimize primary accounts and bring any questions or extension opportunities to the SEO Manager and/or Strategist on the account

Continuing SEO Education

• Proactively seek counsel or training opportunities for SEO-related tasks where there is a known knowledge gap
• Work with SEO Manager to customize and self-score against the SEO Analyst Training Guide

Foundational SEO Knowledge

• Understanding of what SEO is and how it plays a role in marketing and meeting business goals
• Foundational understanding of the different areas that impact SEO, including content, off-site, local, and technical components

Tracking Setup & Diagnostics

• Fundamental understanding of how all tracking for campaign measurement works including but not limited to:
  • Google My Business
  • Google Search Console
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Google Analytics
  • Adobe Analytics
  • Call Tracking Metrics
  • DataStudio
  • SEMrush
• Ability to help set up tracking, validate and troubleshoot issues for all KPIs that are being tracked for campaigns

• Pull monthly reports for assigned clients
