About You

The SEO Account Associate is responsible for supporting the Account Manager and/or the Account Coordinator with production-level tasks, including reporting and analysis, producing call notes and call insights, and helping produce the first draft of major deliverables. As an SEO Account Associate, you will work on approximately 4 - 6 accounts and be responsible for studying and mastering 3Q's best practices for SEO, while gaining an understanding of common SEO tools, such as Screaming Frog, Moz, Semrush, DeepCrawl, AHREFS, Advanced Web Rankings, and Searchmetrics.

You'll be responsible for:
  • Learning the fundamentals of search engine optimization
  • Sharpening your technical skills in Excel, Google Analytics, and 3rd-party SEO tools
  • Developing an ability to contribute towards and drive strategy for clients
  • Using Google Analytics and 3rd-party SEO tools to pull client reports
  • Preparing the first draft of major deliverables: technical site audits & content audits
  • Conducting keyword research
  • Providing page optimization recommendations
  • Initial report creation and providing preliminary insights based on data to account team
  • Managing priorities, multitasking, and delivering high-quality work
  • Keeping current on marketing blogs

You'll need to have:
  • 0 - 6 months of search engine optimization (SEO) experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong time-management skills and the ability to prioritize to deliver multiple tasks on time, as well as high attention to detail

  • You are an energetic and creative search marketing enthusiast; eager to roll up your sleeves and be hands on, learn, and grow in the search marketing space
  • You are entrepreneurial spirited and a self-starter; able to work both independently and in a team environment
