We're looking for that special Product Marketer who has the chops and the guts to disrupt the status quo. This role serves as an energizing force partnering with Marketing, Sales and Solution Engineering to bring our product positioning, messaging and differentiation to life. As a member of the Product Marketing team, you are the creative genius behind making our product shine in the eyes of our technical security buyers and users.

The best Product Marketers are those that address market and buyer pain by turning complex product feature-sets into powerful, compelling stories that drive buyer urgency and action. We are a creative, collaborative, and communicative culture that thrives on "winning" as a team.

  • Develop clear and differentiated product positioning and messaging for both current and new product functionality.
  • Develop the strategy and plan needed to launch new product features
  • Develop and update content including demos, videos, whitepapers, blogs and web materials aimed to advance a Security Architect and speed sales cycles
  • Deliver sales trainings on product differentiation and functionality
  • Create and articulate competitive differentiation and advantages aimed at winning over the technical decision maker
  • Partner with others to create presentations, battlecards and demo scripts to be leveraged by the sales team
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of current processes or projects to suggest improvements
  • Frequently advise others on complex matters and deliver messaging as it relates to the wider business:
    • Demand Marketing on content and nurture strategies
    • Customer Marketing to develop strategies for product adoption campaigns
    • Sales Enablement to develop successful sales trainings and tools
  • Present at tradeshows and analyst briefings
  • Act as a brand ambassador by networking with key external marketing and security professionals

  • 6 to 8 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years of product marketing experience
  • B2B SaaS product marketing experience strongly preferred; Security or IT industry experience desired
  • In-depth professional product, market and buyer knowledge
  • Experience with data security solutions like DLP, CASB or IRM a plus
  • Growth mindset to continuously learn and hone security technology marketing skills
  • Proven acumen in technical and competitive product positioning, messaging and content creation
  • Fanatical about being buyer-centric and customer-first in everything you do
  • Exceptional visual, verbal and written communication skills
  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for employment, if not currently employed by Code42.
