About the Role

The sr. product marketing manager will be responsible for informing how to position, sell, package, and scale new and existing products. The position reports into the Director of Product Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the nuts and bolts of product marketing, including industry and user research, segmentation, needs identification, key benefits articulation, pricing, overall product value proposition and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Develop positioning and messaging based on customer and competitive insights and ensure that is carried across every customer touchpoint from marketing to product to sales. 
  • Develop go-to-market strategies and collaborate with customer success, product development, and sales on execution of launch plans for these new solutions.
  • Engage regularly with customers to deeply understand feature needs, identify product gaps, and ensure the voice of the customer is heard in product and design decisions.
  • Drive market segmentation and analysis, understand target segments and needs, define ideal customer profiles and personas, identify emerging market segments, prepare market and solution forecasts.
  • Develop innovative and professional materials to support Sales in selling solutions, pitch decks, sell sheets, videos, blog posts, etc. and drive internal training presentations for sales and customer success.
  • Facilitate sales enablement, including generation of sales collateral and product marketing materials, producing webinars, advertising and public relations campaigns, taking the product to tradeshows and securing coverage by relevant industry analysts.

About You

  • 3-5 years of B2B product marketing experience, experience in equity tech/enterprise SaaS is a plus
  • Strong understanding of all aspects of product marketing across the product lifecycle: Customer and competitive Insights; Positioning and Messaging; Go-to-Market Strategy; Customer Success; and Sales Enablement and support
  • Excellent research, communication, and organizational skills. You should be a great learner, synthesizer, writer, speaker, and listener.
  • The courage to ask questions – soon and often. It’s a complex space and you need to learn it quickly and thoroughly.
  • You thrive in an all-hands-on-deck, collaborative startup environment.
