About the team
The Merchant Solutions Marketing team is comprised of multi-talented and creative marketers across the areas of Product, Pipeline, Field, Content, Channel and Partner Marketing. The team is responsible for go-to-market of Worldpay from FIS's global product suite spanning across Enterprise and SMB merchants.
What you will be doing
This role is important to successfully bringing products to market and driving their adoption. You will be managing a set of enterprise products and focused on product messaging, value proposition, content for marketing assets and competitive insights for the product set. This role reports to the Enterprise Product Marketing Director.

Works on multiple projects as a project leader or frequently as the subject matter expert. Works on projects/issues of medium to high complexity that require demonstrated knowledge across multiple product marketing lines. Works under minimal supervision on complex projects. Wide latitude for independent judgment. Flexible and adaptable leader with ability to move fluently between details and the big picture. Typically requires six or more years of product marketing experience.

Strategic driver of solution storytelling, product positioning

  • Manages development, implementation and delivery of product messaging, positioning and solution value propositionsbased on target personas and verticals
  • Leads the development, delivery and maintenance of integrated product marketing plan for assigned products and solution sets to drive adoption and advocacy
  • Creates strategic product marketing roadmaps to drive acceptance of the product and highlight differentiating features
  • Coordinates product naming initiatives and product trademarks with branding team
  • Researches needs to determine content and scope of materials by interviewing subject-matter experts, forming focus groups, conducting committee meetings, etc.
  • Provides actionable competitive insights to help differentiate our product offerings
  • Develops & presents plans to senior management for approval, driving consensus across stakeholders.
  • Works closely with Product Managers, GTM, Sales Enablement and Sales teams to identify needs and sharpen product offerings based on feedback from customers (VOC), sales, and competitive offerings


Storyteller and creative content marketer

  • Collaborates with product management and sales enablement teams to develop compelling messaging and storylines for use cases and customer testimonials related to product usage and benefit
  • Develop best-in-class materials for product launches and campaigns such as videos, sales training materials, thought leadership, infographics, customer stories, blogs, case studies, FAQs, webinars, data sheets, demos, battle cards, talk tracks, sales decks, physical/virtual event experiences, interactive tools, ROI calculators and more to assist sales across all funnel stages.
  • Supports creation of sales enablement materials, pricing guidelines and training along with key processes and tools for launch, cross-sell and upsell, industry verticalization and account management to drive product revenue
  • Collaborates on product related press releases, analyst reports and briefings, client wins, speaking engagements and news stories


Collaborative, curious and solution-oriented team player

  • Measures the success of products and evaluates the key performance indicators, adjusting strategies based on insights
  • Manages collaboration with agencies, and productively partners with shared services teams, including content, digital, brand and creative services
  • Develops and maintains relationships with internal and external clients
  • Consults with internal stakeholders and external providers to develop appropriate product information management and distribution solutions
  • Responsible for staying on time, planning budget, and managing spend of product marketing work
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors, manage procurement and invoice processes


What you bring:

  • 5-7 years of experience in a B2B technology product marketing
  • Successful track record of shaping product marketing strategy, creating sharp messaging and successful GTM for B2B products and services
  • Demonstrated history of building processes, tools and materials for verticalized GTM, lead generation, product launch and sales enablement.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, ability to manage with influence and experience working closely with other teams, especially, product, sales, marketing, credit and business development
  • Record of building strategic alignment and buy-in across multiple stakeholders, functions and geographic regions
  • Analytical approach to decide which opportunities to pursue
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work in a faced paced, dynamic and ambiguous environment
  • A willingness to roll up your sleeves and execute
  • Sense of urgency and bias for action
  • A Bachelor's degree


Bonus if you have:

  • Payments industry experience is a plus
  • Experience working with distributed global teams is a plus
