About the Role

As the world of Financial Services changes and companies are becoming more global, there is an increase in the use of shared service centers to consolidate and outsource their tax and accounting needs.

As the Senior Product Marketing Manager of Shared Services Centers (SSCs), you will be responsible for the tactical and strategic direction of our portfolio of tax and accounting solutions (aka ONESOURCE) to meet the needs of those newly formed shared service centers.

You will accelerate business performance by identifying and delivering on growth initiatives, leading the go-to-market initiatives, contribute to defining global pricing & packaging, and be an active thought leader in the industry.

Your role also involves working closely with the sales, marketing, product management, technology, and client service functions of the business to drive value propositions that differentiate Thomson Reuters in the market.

The ideal candidate will have both knowledge and experience with shared service centers and tax compliance reporting - including statutory reporting. They will use that knowledge to channel back feedback, market dynamics, and competitive intelligence to influence product development and the go-to-market strategy.

As Senior Product Marketing Manager of Shared Services Centers, you will define market-winning value propositions and fearlessly defend the needs of the customer.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Defining unique and compelling product value propositions
  • Identifying and delivering on growth initiatives
  • Driving new product launches
  • Segmenting customers and market sizing
  • Defining the overall strategy for the SSC portfolio
  • Defining and optimizing the customer journey
  • Conducting competitive assessments
  • Developing business cases as needed (i.e. should we build, buy, or partner to grow?)
  • Leading the SSC Customer Advisory Board to gather customer insights and use those insights to shape the product roadmap
  • Working with our Partnership & Alliances organization to identify how we can strategically leverage existing partners to drive growth across the ONESOURCE portfolio



About You

You're a fit for the role of Senior Product Marketing Manager of Shared Services Centers if you:

  • Have 4+ years of experience working in enterprise software with demonstrable experience of driving business growth & an understanding of how technology can transform business operations
  • Are customer-centric - able to represent the customers' perspective and maintain strong client relationships; and strong commercial acumen with an ability to 'think like a customer'
  • Have experience successfully managing large business projects
  • Are able to facilitate and present formal presentations at the executive level
  • Possess strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills for liaison with external customers and internal staff at all levels
  • Are highly motivated with ability to drive results
  • Have experience in information and software solutions
  • Have experience working in and around corporate tax compliance
