Fanatics, Inc. is seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our digital marketing team. The Senior Marketing Specialist will assist in feed and data management for the Shopping Engine channels. This includes building feeds for new sites, testing for optimization opportunities, and maintain overall feed health. The candidate must enjoy problem-solving and identifying opportunities for improvement daily. The ideal candidate would be familiar with the concept of search engine and feed marketing. They should be highly analytical and goal-oriented. The candidate should also like working in a fast-paced environment. Keeping up with professional and collegiate sports is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports that provide valuable metrics for advertising and operational decisions
Create thorough and detail-oriented processes to troubleshoot issues
Execute project plans with the team to build, clean, and maintain feed health
Develop A/B and multivariate testing strategies to understand the online customer experience; develop and implement processes and procedures to regularly test, measure and improve the customer experience
Work closely with the product team to ensure key features are released and rolled out according to plan
Collaborate with the analytics and business intelligence team to build actionable reports to make advertising decisions
Assist feeds marketing team in maintaining and developing the Shopping channel portfolio, understand the different facets of the business and execute on an as-needed basis
Help all feed-based channels to add and remove products for events and business needs
Create, manage, and distribute data and insights via regular and ad-hoc reporting utilizing analytics tools (Omniture, Adwords) and reporting/analysis platforms (Tableau, SQL, Excel)
Education and Experience Requirements:
Well versed in business reporting and can make decisions based on numbers
Strong commitment to learning digital marketing techniques and strategies
Strong quantitative skills, and experience utilizing scientific analytic methods, qualitative methods, and quantitative analysis techniques
Team player showing proven ability to work cross-functionally with our technology product managers and product developers to roll out product enhancements
General knowledge of marketplaces and paid advertising
Google Adwords, Omniture, and 3rd party feed management tools experience a plus
Commitment to learning new and changing industry developments and best practices
Knowledge and passion for all things sports is a bonus
Exceedingly detail-oriented and responsible
Ability to change focus easily and multitask
Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint)
Must be willing to dedicate time outside of normal business hours to launch advertising for major sporting events (i.e. College National Championships, Super Bowl, Stanley Cup, etc.)
Bachelor’s degree preferred
