The CRM Marketing Specialist will be responsible for building and coding Yahoo consumer facing marketing email campaigns using HTML. This person will take on executing day-to-day email marketing initiatives including, but not limited to, email campaign build, proofing, tagging, and testing of one-time and triggered recurring campaigns. We will be looking to this person to effectively apply industry best practices as well as internal brand standards to HTML development. As a part of this role, CRM operations will also come into play. Executing email campaigns by leveraging Yahoo's technology platform and data to build email, push and triggered communications.
Responsibilities:

  • Convert email designs to functional, dynamic and responsive web/mobile templates
  • Edit and modify existing creative designs using industry standard design applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator and Sketch
  • Test HTML code using Litmus for syntax errors, responsiveness, and accuracy across platforms and formats
  • Support CRM Marketing Managers on executing campaign blueprints for all user segment programs and channel types
  • Maintain a current understanding of CRM/email marketing best practices and apply them to the execution of campaigns
  • Partner with the engineering teams to understand the data requirements to implement successful campaigns
  • Ability to HTML code global email campaigns which require translation into one template using conditional statements to display the appropriate content.


Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in coding HTML in email and/or web development context. Specific experience with email layout and code within web and responsive mobile constraints
  • 1-2 years experience building and executing cross-channel marketing programs specifically email across multiple device types (mobile, desktop)
  • Candidate must demonstrate technical acumen to resolve data issues with targeting lists to expedite and facilitate campaign delivery
  • Ability to troubleshoot coding problems
  • Ability to manage a significant, constantly changing workload and adhere to tight deadlines
  • Creative, positive energy, self-directed, amiable attitude, and composed under pressure.
  • Past experience with email service providers and marketing automation platforms highly desired
  • Proficient in HTML, Dreamweaver, Photoshop.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
