Job Description

Position Summary

This senior leadership role requires a dynamic, pragmatic and flexible marketing professional with a proven history of success in B2B marketing. This key role offers a proactive marketer the opportunity to consolidate, build and lead the marketing plan for the Fitness & Wellbeing vertical in the UK and Ireland. 

Uniquely, this opportunity spans 4 different brands, each with their own value propositions and customer base, but will deliver a consolidated go-to-market effort across the region. Reporting into the UK/EU Regional Marketing Leader you’ll be part of a global team of high-performance marketers working together to build the Xplor brand and go-to-market strategy in the key UKI region.

The Senior Marketing Manager will lead the strategic planning and tactical execution of all campaigns in the UK and Ireland. This position is both a leadership role and focussed on hands-on execution of the day-to-day strategy, planning, management, coordination and execution of marketing including digital, campaigns, events, website, social media and brand. This role is responsible for building a strong demand generation and client retention program, as well maintaining a strong brand value proposition in the region. Ultimately accountable for the overall marketing performance and budget spend, the Senior Marketing Manager will be a key member of the UKI leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the development of the end-to-end marketing strategy, program architecture and campaign planning for the F&W Vertical in UKI (program planning, campaign management, tactical execution, content development, and collaboration with key stakeholders) 

  • Define integrated, effective campaigns and programs - internally and externally - to meet business revenue and client acquisition goals.

  • Deliver breakthrough ideas, innovation and leadership to deliver a comprehensive go to market plan for net new clients via all relevant mediums and channels (e.g. digital campaigns, online/live events, 3rd party channels, social media, organic).

  • Improve and apply processes and best practises to ensure program success, making programs globally visible and available, measure outcomes and manage budgets to maximise impact.

  • Manage and own end-to-end campaign effectiveness and results. Publish frequent campaign scorecards to share performance trends with key stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with regional and global marketing stakeholders to gain input into the program strategy, campaign approach, creative direction and impact measurement (goals/performance).

  • Have the capability to orchestrate, negotiate, prioritise and manage project deliverables with other members of the marketing organisation as needed.

  • Act as a thought-leader and single point of truth for F&W UKI within the marketing organisation and across sales management teams and other supporting lines of business.


Experience / Skills Required

  • 5-7 years experience in a B2B campaign manager capacity

  • 3+ years experience managing and developing new marketing programs

  • Proven track record of building, leading and managing integrated campaigns across web, social, email, as well as in-person events and other activities.

  • Extensive background in developing and executing targeted marketing campaigns focused on specific market segments. A full understanding of how to segment the market and audience relative to a specific industry and identify the appropriate targets.

  • Previous success working in a matrix organisation and/or cross-functional environment

Experience / Skills Desired

  • Strong understanding of demand generation and experience of driving quantifiable ROI. Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity

  • Detail oriented with strong project management skills

  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills experience with social media

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, ability to lead and work cross-functionally and in teams.

  • Be a highly professional lead and team player with a positive, can-do attitude; must be very comfortable with continuously changing opportunities and priorities.

  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools (Hubspot & Salesforce preferred) is an advantage

  • Experience with SaaS products and/or solution selling is desirable
