The Senior Marketing Manager, Global Marketing Operations and DBS for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for supporting our Launch Excellence Commercialization process and other strategic priorities within our global marketing team. You will partner will internal global associates across many different functions such as global/regional marketing and product management, to enable you to plan, implement and execute various projects effectively! In addition, as a DBS (Danaher Business System) Champion you will provide support and mindful application of DBS with business priorities to meet the team objectives and requirements. Our environment is fast paced, requiring the ability to work autonomously with minimal direction. Excellent problem-solving skills, communication ability, and attention to detail are vital for success. We are looking for a self-starter ready to take ownership of projects and work across different departments with business partners to achieve established goals.

This position is part of the Global Marketing Organization and the position can be 100% remote. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Support the Director, Global Marketing Operations with large projects that include resolution of highly sophisticated business problems such as New Product launch application, and other projects support growth and retention initiatives
  • Own the Launch Excellence (LEX) process, drive standard work and continue growing and improving the LEx process by integrating improvements based on business needs and proactive collaboration
  • Accountable for the monthly Global Marketing business reviews through establishing the agenda required to create management oversight of key projects. Drive the organization to deliver on actions that are assigned during the monthly review.
  • Coach and mentor marketing associates to drive for successful commercialization and initiatives; support Global Marketing Leadership Team in helping to upskill associates
  • Support the annual goal setting and alignment process to ensure cross-functional alignment on large cross-functional initiatives before heading into each year.
  • DBS (Danaher Business System) responsibilities - organize, facilitate, and ensure kaizen sustainment, provide training/coaching to associates and leaders in DBS tools, support effective KPI bowler and Kaizen Funnel review, support process improvement activities, ensure effective daily management approach, provide mentorship and help team use process to identify root causes and countermeasures to close gaps


The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 14+years demonstrated capability or master's degree with 12+years or doctoral degree with 9+ years
  • Requires a minimum of 5 years of successful marketing experience with increasing responsibilities
  • 2 years' experience in the application of DBS or Continuous Improvement Principles in their function or proven transferrable skills with similar application and experience
  • Ability to travel globally. 25-35% travel


It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Related experience leadership in a large and highly matrixed organization in a global environment
  • Experience in the scientific industry (healthcare, IVD, medical device, life sciences)
  • Certified Practitioner in a DBS Tool
