Description

Our corporate Marketing Operations team is looking to hire a Senior Marketing Data Analyst. This is an exciting and high visibility position where you will be responsible for helping the Marketing team on a day to day basis with a wide range of responsibilities, such as overall marketing reporting and data management functions, defining and creating marketing dashboards, gathering data for multiple marketing channels. You will be the go-to person for vertical marketing managers to collaborate on reporting needs, tying data from multiple channels and presenting insights and recommendations.

Responsibilities

Reporting and Data Analysis

  • organize, sort, and filter data to measure and report on the performance of the Marketing organization using dashboards, reports, etc.
  • Work closely with Manager, and marketing leaders to help track, measure, and optimize marketing initiativesacross multiple channels and campaigns
  • Measure the performance and effectiveness of all lead generation activities across inbound/outbound channels to analyze marketing influence on generating opportunities and make recommendations based on findings
  • Collect and analyze data to distinguish patterns, recognize trends, and develop models from past data to segment and score leads
  • Handle an array of ad hoc requests from the team, including building custom reporting, validating and generating standard KPIs, building Web Analytics reports as needed


Data Automation and Integration

  • Assist in driving marketing data infrastructure for the Reporting Automation platform including scoring, multi-touch nurture, segmentation/profiling etc.
  • Partner with IT team and assist with building automated processes to extract data from multiple marketing inbound and outbound channels using ETL tools/APIs to enable report automation
  • Assist with building automated processes to enhance data attributes/perform data cleanup and transform data
  • Works with subject matter experts across the organization to understand data sources, data errors, and validate outputs.
  • Handle ad hoc requests from the team such as QA'ing data, analyzing data oddities etc.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Math, Economics or Engineering- Masters(preferred) with 1 - 2 years of experience or Bachelor's degree with 3 - 5 years of experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in processes supporting analytics for Marketing/sales functions
  • Strong knowledge of databases such as SQL Server (preferred) or Oracle SQL and experience working with medium to large data sets
  • Advanced experience working with BI tools such as Power BI (preferred), Tableau, or others
  • Advanced knowledge of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics (preferred), or Adobe Analytics and backend data from these tools
  • Experience in modern integration and data warehouse methods like Azure Data Factory/Azure Databricks/Data lake storage and Analytics services is a plus
  • Experience in statistical/predictive modeling and analysis is a plus
  • Experience with CRM tools like Dynamics 365 or Salesforce preferred
  • Familiarity with Marketing automation tools like Marketo/Pardot preferred
  • Knowledge of Python and RESTful API development, databases and handling HTML, XML, and JSON data formats in Python preferred
  • Ability to manage through ambiguous and subjective situations acting independently when needed
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment
  • Must be willing to work as part of a team and collaborate with team members within Marketing, IT and Sales Enablement on larger projects
  • Intellectual curiosity and desire to challenge the status quo
