ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

Rapid Finance is seeking a Marketing Analyst to support our Direct Marketing program, with a focus on online campaign management, targeting and segment level performance. S/he applies strategic thinking, analytical insights and project management skills to build and implement new marketing campaigns, deliver marketing reporting and insights, implement assigned budgets, and cost-effectively acquire new customers.

About You

• You possess proficient technical skills for aggregating, manipulating and analyzing data as well as strong quantitative skills with the ability evaluate data objectively

• You have at least 2 years of professional work experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • consumer marketing
  • statistical analysis
  • marketing research
  • marketing analytics role
  • search, online or direct marketing
  • You have advanced Excel skills and are proficient to advanced with SPSS (or a similar statistical analysis tool – SAS, Minitab, etc.), Google Analytics and/or Adwords
  • You have worked with a marketing automation tool such as Pardot, Eloqua, Marketo, etc.
  • You demonstrate the ability to develop, execute, and analyze results for new marketing campaigns in the following direct-to-market areas:
  • Paid Search and other pay per click channels
  • Affiliate and lead generation programs
  • Online media campaigns (such as display and video)
  • Direct mail programs
  • Offline media campaigns (such as TV, radio, and print)
  • You understand how - and are able to articulate an approach - to test and troubleshoot to ensure campaigns are executed for optimal performance and outcome:
  • Develop and conduct A/B testing of creative assets to optimize campaign performance
  • Perform daily analysis and reporting on campaign results
  • Work with campaign managers to review and test performance of new marketing partners
  • You don’t wait around for answers – you go find them
  • You are looking for a challenge – we will test your limits & give you the opportunity to grow

 SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a quantitative discipline such as Applied Mathematics, Economics, Business Information Technology or Systems, or Statistics
  • Must be reliable, flexible, and committed.
  • Must have the ability to positively adapt to change.
  • Strong computer knowledge, particularly MS Word, Excel, and other office equipment (scanner, fax, copier machines).
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, handling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the general public.
  • High emotional IQ – very strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively across all levels within the organization – from C-Level to team members, while being sensitive to business needs.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, have “go-getter” mentality, and ability to independently problem-solve and make decisions.
