We develop and customize product messaging and positioning, go-to-market programs, events, and sales enablement. This unique opportunity to join the Strategic Partnerships team places you at the heart of marketing innovation at Salesforce. You will drive messaging and insights to position Salesforce as a ground-breaking force and trusted partner to business and IT leaders. You will collaborate closely with key marketing, sales and product partners across the organization to deliver programs that drive measurable impact globally.

The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in all areas of product marketing -- product positioning & messaging, customer & competitive intelligence, sales enablement, sales background. Ideally, you will have experience in building scalable enablement content, running a full and complex deal cycle and demonstrate the ability to drive cross-functional alignment. Strong presentation skills, executive presence and ability to deal with ambiguity is a must.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Discover new approaches to cross-team collaboration at Salesforce by partnering with the Salesforce Platform, Industry Marketing, Field Marketing, Product, and Sales teams.
  • Partner with Customer Marketing to develop regional customer references, testimonials and case studies for external and internal use
  • Monitor and report on the performance of partners in the market and communicate the results of related sales and marketing efforts to leadership
  • Collaborate with marketing peers and resources to produce relevant content and messaging for target buyers, including web content, webinars, data sheets, solution guides, demo videos and more, for all stages of the buyer life cycle
  • Content development and delivery: assist in creating sales tools (play books, first call decks, cheat sheets, call scripts, presentations) that help every AE to effectively position our partnerships. Support in-person and online trainings from sales bootcamp to new sales plays to sales kickoffs


Experience/Skills Required:

  • 5 + years of proven experience in a product marketing, solution marketing or equivalent role
  • Ability to develop strategies for creating and progressing pipeline to support up-sell, cross-sell and account-based marketing programs to grow existing relationships
  • Understanding of key industries and market segments relevant to Salesforce
  • Ability to navigate culture and senior partners across multiple functions & geographies to establish consensus for go-to-market priorities
  • A bias for action and a comfort with numbers: ability to translate data into meaningful recommendations
  • Alignment to our teams values: persistence, agility, creativity and equality
  • Experience with projects that change quickly, often with minimal information
