Senior Manager, Strategic Marketing - Brain Modulation (Finance)

The Brain Modulation (DBS) business is going through an exciting time of rapid innovation and revenue growth. The business has recently commercialized cutting-edge platform technologies and is looking to capitalize on these platform technologies, while advancing the next gen disruptive, transformative innovations.
The Brain Modulation business is looking for a key business leader responsible for shaping the commercial strategy that maximizes the business impact of these innovations. In this role, you'll shape customer and field engagement strategy, and drive execution in partnership with the marketing, training, and field organizations. You'll be responsible to drive adoption of our technologies and accelerate the reach of our therapy to the patients who can benefit from it.

A Day in the Life

 

  • Shape strategy for DBS therapy development and expansion, with the goal of increasing market penetration and adoption of Medtronic technologies
  • Increase patient access to DBS through referral pathway and market development efforts, implementing coordinated and targeted programs in partnership with the Sales team
  • Work in concert with Marketing and Sales leadership to implement high profile programs and initiatives
  • Build strong relationships with KOLs and VIP physicians in key accounts
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and sales counterparts on program execution and optimization
  • Track, measure, analyze and report marketing program impact to key internal and external stakeholders
  • 40-50% travel

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

 

 

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7+ years' experience in a Marketing or Sales role (5 years with a master's degree)
  • Healthcare, Pharma, medical device experience

  • Creative, persistent, and strategic thinker
  • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Excellent planning, project management and analytical skills
  • Experience partnering at senior leadership level
  • Experience building relationships with key customers, physicians / KOLs
  • Demonstrated success in Sales or Commercial leadership
  • Must be detailed-oriented and organized
  • Self-driven and able to work independently
  • Project management experience
  • Worked with or has experience interacting with a broad sales force
