Medly is seeking a Sr. Social Media Marketing Manager who will be responsible for developing and scaling Medly’s social media strategy targeting multiple audiences (patients, providers and omni-channel retail customers) across multiple core verticals (Rx and Retail). You will develop strategies for both organic and paid social, across all the major platforms: Facebook, IG, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc and continuously innovate on opportunities for channel expansion.

The Sr. Social Media Marketing Manager will be the centralized resource leading the day-to-day management of all aspects of social media campaigns and postings, including initial strategy & planning, developing/managing calendar, creative development, audience targeting & segmentation, implementation, optimization, analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate will be a tech-savvy, growth-minded marketer who will develop & implement a robust test & learn roadmap that drives brand awareness, acquisition and engagement. This is a performance marketing role focused on developing efficient, highly scalable campaigns for all segments of our business.

You will have strong analytical, creative and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. You’ll collaborate with the broader Marketing, BI, E-commerce, Product, Retail, and Pharmacy teams to create impactful campaigns, measure results and provide insights that drive results.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing overall social media strategy (targeting and creative) and developing social posts for the main platforms-- Facebook, IG, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube, across paid and organic
  • Own the end-to-end strategy for all paid social campaigns: creative processes, targeting and segmentation, planning, execution, and reporting
  • Develop a social content strategy and calendar that highlights key messaging and year-round storytelling
  • Own community building and management across our social platforms
  • Build, execute, and scale social campaigns and continuously innovate on opportunities for channel expansion
  • Scale our social presence and drive follower growth and engagement across all platforms
  • Work cross-functionally across the organization to execute campaigns and programs, driving excitement for key product/service/new market launches, and community building experiences
  • Identify emerging channel trends (content formats and subject matter) to define and execute a robust test & learn strategy
  • Develop engagement campaigns to capture the hearts and minds of our consumers (patients, providers and omni-channel retail consumers)
  • Set, track and report on performance metrics

Creative:

  • Work with external agency partner and internal creative teams to develop creative, messaging and overall brand story
  • Develop high-performing, dynamic social creative (including videos) to engage consumers and drive demand
  • Develop unique copy and creative tailored to each platform, audience, and campaign

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in organic and paid social media marketing, working as part of an agency or in-house team
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or relevant field of study
  • Proven track record of creating and optimizing successful paid media campaigns & driving followership across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, etc.).
  • Ability to develop and drive weekly editorial calendar meetings with key stakeholders, providing recommendations based on performance data, analysis, and social trends
  • Strong editorial/copywriting experience, ideally with a digital publisher
  • High creative bar and attention to details
  • Track record of driving adoption of new ideas and concepts, and testing new approaches
  • Proven ability to influence and communicate effectively with Sr. leadership
  • Excellent project management skills
