The Opportunity
Hyatt seeks an enthusiastic Senior Manager to join our Digital Marketing department. In this role, you will be collaborating closely with the broader Digital product, content, and field marketing teams, where you'll be instrumental in continuing to make Hyatt a leading hospitality company. You will also work with the transactions team to support owner relations and our internal asset management team. The Role
The Digital Marketing team serves as internal consultants to key areas within the business, including Digital, Commercial, and Field Services. The team consists of subject matter experts across paid and earned channels and serves as strategic advisors to business stakeholders.
This role will split their time and responsibilities to lead 2 distinct areas of expertise: search engine optimization and affiliate marketing. The role will enhance and act as a strategic advisor for search engine optimization efforts and will build a new affiliate marketing program from scratch. The goal is to capture a share of voice throughout the customer journey in these key channels.• Build an affiliate marketing program from the ground up, including agency selection and management, program parameters, tag management, and account maintenance• Develop a strategic roadmap to grow the affiliate program and participation• Leverage affiliate data, insights, and measurement to constantly optimize performance and report on initial campaign performance• Regularly reviews and refines existing processes to look for improvements, prioritizing scale, consistency, and quality• Develops training documentation for vendors, client services, and operations teams• Manages 1 direct report that is dedicated to search engine optimization, with an opportunity to expand the team as business needs require• Maintains a strong partnership with peers and partner teams• Manages special projects and pilot processes• Manages agency and vendor relationships, ensuring the quality of work. Provides actionable recommendations and develops vendor improvement plans if needed• Conduct regular technical SEO audits to identify and address website issues that impact SEO performance
Qualifications
Experience Required: • Experience leading and managing teams, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to team members• Experience with technical SEO and website optimization best practices• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously• 7+ years of experience in SEO strategy development and implementation• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and optimize spending for maximum ROI• Familiarity with affiliate marketing platforms, tools, and technologies
Experience Preferred:• Experience working at a marketing agency• Experience working in hospitality
