Job Description

The Senior Manager, Programmatic is responsible for the day-to-day technical partner and project management, including but not limited to ad verification management tools, data management platforms, programmatic technology platforms, and ad tech platforms. This position requires effective team management and communication skills and has a focus on leading and delegating team deliverables across multiple agency teams. The Senior Manager, Programmatic represents a person interested in technology, data, and media agency opportunities and is expected to take part in larger areas of agency development- aiding with additional projects, committees and task forces. The Senior Manager, Programmatic is also encouraged to contribute ideas and insights that will benefit our clients. 


This position requires an individual that has the ability to multitask as well as prioritize requests appropriately, while thriving in a team-based, fast paced and detail-oriented environment. A successful Senior Manager, Programmatic is resourceful and demonstrates the initiative to participate beyond what is required. The Senior Manager, Programmatic position is training intensive. Aptitude for learning new skills (both technical and organic) and procedures is essential. The Senior Manager, Programmatic is expected to be a key resource for both the activation team and internal data sciences teams, as well as the direct client. 

 

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

 

· Maintain and manage media supply technology partners

· Analyze data at a granular level, including working with Excel pivot tables, vlook-ups, conditional formatting, concatenations, etc.

· Independently develop and maintain timelines for all current and future projects, keeping multiple projects on-track and executed in a timely fashion

· Verify and validate reports, manage discrepancies, and work as a liaison between the activation and strategy teams

· Build comprehensive updates around ad quality, technology pilots and publisher technology

· Manage the completion of ad quality partner reviews, technology integrations and client reporting request

· Lead all ad verification/ad tech tests across multiple agency teams

· Fluently speak and educate others on the data and audience space as well as different partner capabilities

· Become an expert in the AdTech landscape including but not limited to; exchanges, demand side platforms, DMPs, SSPs, and ad verification technology

· Lead the integration and adoption of client’s audience strategy, including leading meetings & communication

· Bring innovative technology solutions to larger agency teams

· Work with media platforms to integrate their systems internally

· Demonstrate willingness to learn new programmatic technology and systems capabilities

· Identify and troubleshoot potential issues and problems, escalate, and propose solutions where possible

· Be the expert in organization, prioritization, and process management

 

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree

· 5+ years agency or related experience preferred, specifically 2+ years programmatic buying & planning

· Ad tech landscape knowledge required

· Advanced computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)

· Ability to learn server-based software and tools
