We're growing our team rapidly and building out a best-in-class B2B marketing team.
About the Role
We’re looking for an innovative, collaborative leader to drive product-led growth for our Udemy Business team. As the Sr. Manager of Growth Marketing, you’ll lead, develop and scale our product-led strategy for lead generation, acquisition and upsell from our consumer business to our B2B business. You’ll also focus on driving upgrades from our self-service B2B products to our broader enterprise solutions. This person will be a leader on our UB Marketing team and have significant experience building revenue-focused programs and strategy and influencing others. We've experienced tremendous growth over the last few years and this role is critical to ensuring we continue to rapidly scale the business.
This role reports to our VP of Marketing for Udemy Business and will be based in our Denver office.
Here's What You'll Be Doing:
- Drive one of our key B2B demand generation strategies, to develop and execute a growth marketing plan that creates revenue via Udemy’s consumer user base and products.
- Plan, execute, and measure product-led marketing programs that drive upsell/upgrade leads, opportunities, and pipeline for our B2B Sales teams.
- Partner closely with our Product, Engineering, and Design teams to identify and execute experiments on our consumer marketplace and within our products, to improve and create new conversion paths that drive leads to our B2B Sales teams.
- Create marketing programs via email, in-app messaging, and chat, to drive upsell from consumer products to our B2B product lines.
- Manage marketing for our self-service B2B product, collaborating with Marketing to drive signups and trials, and with Product teams to drive engagement and renewals within the product.
- Design all programs and experiments with data-driven hypotheses, prioritizing best opportunities to increase revenue and identify new sources of pipeline.
- Monitor and optimize ongoing experiments, programs, and pipeline funnel performance, collaborating with our Analytics and Data Science teams.
- Be accountable for key performance indicators that show impact of your experiments and programs
We’re Excited About You Because You Have:
- 7-10 years of Marketing experience in a B2B SaaS environment.
- 3+ years of growth marketing or product-led growth experience, specifically in a freemium or consumer to paid model.
- 3-5 years of leadership experience, hiring and developing high-performance teams. Ability to plan and execute details of your own projects and programs, and manage one team member (initially).
- A track record of rapidly scaling strategies and experiments that drive revenue in a fast-growing organization.
- Experience collaborating with Product and Engineering teams, to identify areas of optimization, experiments, and optimization of B2B lead acquisition.
- Understanding of B2B marketing automation and measurement systems. Familiar with Salesforce, Marketo, and the marketing and sales funnel.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and motivate people at all levels across a broad variety of job functions, building highly collaborative cross-functional relationships.
- Confidence to work within a dynamic environment when priorities and tactics change rapidly and you’re able to adapt quickly.
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities and deadlines - aligning stakeholders and production teams, minding details, organizing materials, and leading and aligning team members.
- A performance-oriented and data-driven mindset. Strong analytical skills, the ability to review and analyze business performance metrics, KPIs, and the ability to pivot when the data tells you to
