About the Role
As a leader in the Marketing team, you will drive consumer acquisition for our top rated mobile apps in a high-growth environment using a full marketing mix, including search, social, affiliate, display and CRM. Reporting into the VP Marketing, you will systematically improve the efficiency of proven marketing channels and grow new channels to hit ambitious goals.
The ideal candidate has developed marketing plans, effectively managed individual performance marketers, has a creative mind and lives and breathes data. They will thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a roll up your sleeves attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit.
As Senior Manager, Performance Marketing you'll get to:
- Plan, optimize and deploy multi-million dollar budgets across all performance marketing channels to hit ambitious acquisition & retention goals
- Methodically test, launch and scale each efficient growth channel, including paid search, social, SEO, mobile app installs, affiliates, influencers, etc.
- Exhibit exceptional organization and attention to detail to build a framework for identifying opportunities, prioritizing experiments, scoping projects & managing dependencies.
- Track, analyze and communicate outcomes. Rally your team around ambitious acquisition and ROI goals and crisply communicate progress and insights to executives and across the company.
- Lead and mentor a rapidly growing performance marketing team. Manage marketing functions including digital marketing, CRO, SEO, and lifecycle management.
- Oversee output of digital agencies. Tightly manage activities and outcomes.
- Partner with the Product team to ideate, define, build & test initiatives that improve performance across the customer journey and enhance marketing measurement & attribution.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 8+ years of experience in consumer marketing.
- Experience scaling a digital consumer mobile app and managing a multi-million dollar budget.
- Experience managing and mentoring multi-functional marketers.
- Direct experience with DMP/DSPs, SEM/social, landing page optimization, A/B testing & digital analytics platforms.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills. You work effectively with all members of the organization and can appropriately represent your function.
- An owner mentality. You don't just work on projects, you own outcomes. While you have many ideas, you run the most promising ones quickly to the ground.
- Tenacity about optimization, process, and prioritization—people know you as exceptionally organized and detail-oriented.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations. Deep understanding of how to best measure and communicate digital analytics.
- Fluency with marketing experimentation, including multi-variate testing across the marketing funnel.
- Deep understanding of the full marketing stack. You are able to field technical details on data flows from and to ad networks and ensure accurate attribution.
- Endless curiosity about growth marketing and customer behavior. Desire to understand different cultures, empathetically executing marketing plans to diverse customer segments.
- Multicultural and/or financial services experience is a plus.
