About the Role:

WeWork is looking for a Senior Manager of Analytics to aid in the measurement of our central and regional marketing efforts. This role will primarily support the central marketing org and report into the Director of Marketing Analytics & Operations. As a member of the analytics team, you will play an active role in influencing marketing optimizations and strategies through the building of reports and dashboards, as well as in-depth data analysis to channel and regional marketing leadership. 

You will work collaboratively with central and regional stakeholders for consistent approaches to analyzing marketing and product-specific data, testing hypotheses and communicating recommendations. The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical and quantitative problem solving skills, as well as excellent data visualization skills, preferably in Tableau. Excelling in this role will require the candidate to be confident in distilling complex data sets into actionable solutions and communicate these clearly verbally and in writing. 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure activity across marketing campaign funnels and customer behavior flows are tagged and tracked accurately for reporting and analysis, across multiple channels, including, but not limited to; paid search, social, display and email marketing

  • Measure and report on marketing performance with respect to our core Wework products. Performance measurement will largely comprise of dashboards, follow-up analysis from dashboard performance, and ad-hoc analyses

  • Aid in the building and maintaining of marketing-based Tableau dashboards and data models that incorporate marketing specific data

  • Use historical marketing and sales performance to create benchmarks and goals that the marketing team can align to

  • Proactively analyze data, identify trends and develop recommendations for changes across our paid, owned, and earned channels that can influence sales growth for our products 

  • Support marketing team on SQL and data needs, including regular and ad hoc analyses

  • Manage multiple projects and deliver against deadlines for a range of senior stakeholders internally

  • Work collaboratively  with data engineers, marketing ops, and third party partners to ensure the quality of our data in our data warehouse 

Experience and qualifications 

  • 6+ years of experience within a role focused on marketing analytics, preferably with experience managing a small team of analysts 

  • Proficient at utilizing SQL to query from a data warehouse, preferably Snowflake

  • Proficient with various analytics, visualization, and CRM platforms ( Tableau, Segment, Datorama, Google Analytics, and Salesforce are most commonly used),  and the ability to quickly understand new and proprietary tools

  • Experience with interfacing across technical teams and non-technical stakeholders is required, as well as experience in writing BRDs and PRDs

  • Strong presentation and data storytelling skills. The ability to take difficult analytical concepts and tell an easy to understand, cohesive story is crucial

  • Strong understanding of paid media platforms, ad trafficking and online tracking mechanisms including but not limited to DV360, Facebook, SA 360, Linkedin, UTM tracking, floodlight/pixel tags, etc.

  • Knowledge of python and advanced statistical techniques are a plus 

  • Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent, Master’s degree a plus
