Sr. Marketing Manager, Email

Medly is seeking a Sr. Email Marketing Manager who will be responsible for developing and scaling Medly’s email program targeting multiple audiences (patients, providers and e-commerce customers) across multiple core verticals (Rx and Retail). The ideal candidate will be a tech-savvy, growth-minded marketer who will develop & implement a robust test & learn roadmap that drives acquisition, retention and cross-sell across our consumer base. The Sr. Email Marketing Manager will be the centralized resource leading the day-to-day management of all aspects of email, SMS & push notification campaigns, including initial strategy & planning, segmentation, implementation, optimization, analysis, and reporting. This is a performance marketing role focused on developing efficient, highly scalable campaigns that drive revenue.

You will build an email marketing & automation program from the ground up (using platforms such as Braze). You will create, test and optimize performance in order to drive key metrics. You will have strong technical, analytical, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. You’ll collaborate with the broader Marketing, BI, E-commerce, Product, Retail, and Pharmacy teams to create impactful campaigns, measure results and provide insights that drive results.


What You’ll Do:

  • Build, optimize, and scale the email marketing channel for Medly, across all audiences
  • Own the full lifecycle of an email campaign: from ideation to testing, executing and optimizing
  • Manage the planning, development, and execution of email marketing programs across the funnel from brand messages to targeted campaigns based on customer segmentation to triggered campaigns based on cross-channel customer behavior
  • Build email calendar for each audience and vertical; source appropriate content, themes & creative, working closely with various teams across the organization
  • Migrate current emails from various ESPs to Braze (centralized customer engagement platform) and build campaigns against each KPI (acquisition, reactivation, etc)
  • Build out our centralized database of leads, collected from various sources (sales, partnerships, e-commerce, etc)
  • Create and manage automations (triggers) and drip campaigns to increase engagement rates and lifetime values
  • Develop and execute A/B testing roadmap to continually improve campaign performance across all key metrics (open rates, CTOR, CVR, etc)
  • Track weekly and monthly campaign performance and share results and insights with relevant partners

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of email & SMS marketing and automation tools (e.g., Braze, Cordial, Salesforce Marketing cloud, Twilio)
  • Strong knowledge base of tried and tested email marketing tactics
  • Ability to compile, organize, analyze, and communicate data and actionable insights across the organization
  • Ability to write email content/copy
  • Ability to segment audiences and launch campaigns that drive key metrics for each
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to take a part art/part science approach to email marketing
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and meet deadlines
