The Red Hat North America (NA) Field Marketing team is looking for an experienced, results-driven digital marketing Senior Manager to direct the regional digital marketing strategy to help achieve business and marketing goals in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will build a cohesive strategic plan for regional paid media and manage the regional digital marketing team responsible for implementing multi-channel digital media including search engine marketing, paid social, display, programmatic, and social selling programs. This role requires you to have the ability to track, evaluate, and report overall effectiveness, efficiency, and return on paid media investment. You'll need to have exceptional communication skills with superb interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate, influence, and guide change across functional teams.
What you will do

  • Work with leadership and stakeholders to understand business objectives and revenue goals, as part of the strategy development process
  • Work effectively across functional teams including the Office of the CMO, marketing operations, legal, finance, content, and digital strategy, as well regional and global marketing teams to align paid and organic, and awareness and demand generation plans, share best practices, promote operational efficiency, influence process evolution, and expand marketing technology (MarTech) capabilities to address changing legislation and platform limitations
  • Prepare and manage the region's paid media budget, and ensure accurate forecasting through delivery
  • Use data visualization and marketing analytics tools to monitor performance against predetermined KPIs, identify trends, and derive actionable insights
  • Maximize return on overall paid media investment through data-informed optimizations across ad types, ad platform, content type, and targeting strategy
  • Present quarterly digital marketing plans to stakeholders, and regularly report on overall paid media performance
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate the NA Digital Marketing team, and external account team within the regional paid media agency of record
  • Serve as the regional digital media subject matter expert


What you will bring

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communication, or related field required; advanced business or marketing degree is a plus
  • 8+ years of marketing experience with 4+ years of practical digital marketing experience, preferably in a B2B organization or agency environment implementing, managing, and optimizing digital marketing channels including paid search, paid social, performance, programmatic, and direct partnerships
  • Adept at enhancing brand awareness within the digital space as well as increasing website traffic and acquiring leads
  • Understanding of digital marketing key metrics and best practices across platforms and channels
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience with the predominant digital marketing platforms, as well as MarTech and ad serving tools
  • Motivated, resourceful, and forward-thinking, with the ability to quickly solve problems and pivot strategies, as needed
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent budget and project management skills
  • Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, influence others, and achieve results through collaboration across functional teams and geographies
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once, while being able to prioritize the most important initiatives with the greatest organizational impact
  • Ability to work as part of a team with superb collaboration and communication skills
  • Experience leading a team, supporting associate growth and development, and sustaining a positive work environment
  • Experience working with an agency of record to strategize, build, implement, optimize, and report on integrated paid media strategies aligned to business objectives
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
