We are looking for an experienced Developer Marketing Programs Manager who is passionate about ideating, building and launching programs to engage, grow and spotlight our incredible developer community and raise awareness of the resources and opportunities available as part of the Salesforce ecosystem.

  • You like to work in a cross-functional environment, helping reach our developers to deliver on their needs, wants and asks, as well as representing their interests internally to other stakeholders.

  • You are community focused and possibly have been involved in some type of community engagement in the past, both in a high touch capacity and/or at scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Define strategy for new developer programs and initiatives, overseeing scope, budget, goals and KPI's, as well as tracking performance and key learnings.
  • Manage established programs, including serving as the point of contact for engagements, proposing solutions/anticipating issues, and identifying and implementing ways to drive improvements
  • Partner with developer marketing counterparts to drive execution of global multi-channel marketing and awareness campaigns, as it relates to program strategy and goals.
  • Drive innovation through pilots and other mechanisms to test, learn and adapt to better serve our developer audience.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across developer, admin and architect relations teams to learn and adopt best known methods and build a network of key collaborators.
  • Drive relevant programmatic meetings, providing updates to your team and keeping contributors accountable towards the execution timeline of deliverables.
  • Communicate to team members, department leaders and executives, keeping them informed and engaged and enabling them to do their best work.


Skills That Are Required to Succeed In This Role:

  • Seasoned marketer with 8+ years experience in marketing roles, with a focus on Program Management, Community Programs, Training & Strategy
  • Deep understanding of the Developer audience and experience launching programs and efforts specifically designed to engage and messaging to that audience.
  • Proven track record in building programs from the ground up and engaging diverse stakeholders
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience defining, developing and leading large programs in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Proven collaboration and relationship-building skills - with experience developing working relationships at all levels of management
  • Results-driven: deep sense of accountability and the ability to drive large projects from start to finish
  • High energy and passion for the job
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
