About the Role
The Brand Team is responsible for elevating GoodRx into a go-to brand that people trust with their healthcare, support new product launches and make sure that people understand how they fit into their lives. We are looking for a strategic minded brand leader who knows how to combine the art & science of marketing, build brands with purpose and impact, and who can support us in becoming a customer-centric marketing organization.
As the Senior Manager, Brand Marketing you will help us rebuild the GoodRx customer journey - from what we stand for to how we show up and how we build relationships with our customers. You will also help guide our internal transformation - from building new capabilities to cross-functional operating models to leading the integration of brand initiatives across the organization.
You will be reporting to the Senior Director, Brand Marketing, partnering closely with the Senior Program Manager and cross-functionally with a broad and deep range of senior stakeholders across Marketing, Product, BI, PR and multiple creative agencies.
What you’ll do:
- Strategically lead brand initiatives from inception to implementation in close partnership with the Senior Program Manager
- Drive the development of our brand architecture & identity, product positionings, GTM and marketing strategies in partnership with business, product and product marketing leads
- Create brand & marketing planning frameworks and agency / internal briefs for brand-level initiatives
- Plan and manage large customer research initiatives (quantitative and qualitative) in partnership with BI, UXR, Data Science and external research partners
- Support the implementation and become the guardian of our brand identity
- Support the planning, development and integration of our new brand platform and future brand- & product-led campaigns
- Advocate and activate our brand purpose across the organization
- Act as a the voice of our customers and champion of our brand strategy in internal and external discussion and reviews with senior team members and executives
- Manage quarterly reporting & planning and extract insights from data and research to identify short- and long-term opportunities for the business, brand and creative
What we are looking for:
- +8 years experience as a Brand Manager or Strategist at brand-led tech company, creative agency or consultancy
- Health / consumer technology background and product launch experience is a plus
- Combination of a strategic mind, data savvy and action bias
- Aptitude to flex between solving complex problems, doing the work and driving implementation
- Analytic and strategic skills to identify and clearly systensize category, competitor and customers insights into brand-, product- & comms-level strategies
- Experienced cross functional collaborator and confident consensus builder across a broad spectrum of senior stakeholders
- Focused, decisive and resilient even amidst ambiguity and change (our team is still in startup mode and the company is evolving fast)
- Confident in discussing and presenting strategic, creative and operational POVs up to C-level executives
- Strong general brand marketing experience spanning strategy, management, research & measurement
- Strong creative instincts across paid, owned and earned
- Experience managing creative agency partners
- Purpose-driven (we are here to help everyone live healthier through access to care) and brand-led (we need to turn our purpose inside out)
- BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing or Communication, MA/MS/MBA preferred
