Job Purpse
The Brand Marketing Sr. Manager leads/drives the strategy and activity designed to generate positive brand awareness and high customer association with the company's core brand attributes in the external marketplace, across both master brands. The role crosses the Florida Blue and GuideWell brands and involves providing strategic brand expertise and tops-down marketing direction for multi-channel campaign development and execution, marketing planning for new products, services and capabilities and channels. The Manager Brand Marketing ensures a holistic, consistent, and impactful brand promotion and communication across all relevant touch points that builds brand equity and positions the company to meet its objectives.

Note: Please note that this role is an individual contributor position and does not have direct reports despite the title.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Leads/drives all activity designed to generate positive brand awareness and high customer association with the company's core brand attributes and alignment to the enterprise brand strategy.
  • Leads brand campaigns and all other significant brand marketing activity, collaborating with segment leaders, brand agency, external local agencies and in-house creative services to ensure the end result is consistent with Brand Strategy, within budget, and on time.
  • Leads brand marketing research and consumer insights to drive brand marketing planning and access performance of marketing spend and overall brand health - awareness, attributes, familiarity, message recall and brand preference in the market.
  • Assesses the effectiveness of existing marketing channels and assets and develops new opportunities for touchpoints for brand marketing based on research and data.
  • Manages brand marketing budget and optimizes return on investment
  • Provides strategic brand consulting to marketing planning and new launches.
  • Leads the implementation and launch of brand conversions of existing or acquired entities.
  • Stays abreast of marketing and consumer trends and competitor strategies.
  • Implements best practice marketing strategies.

What You Must Have:
7+ years related work experience to include brand marketing or related experience, such as brand development, design management, advertising or marketing communications experience
Related Bachelor's degree or additional related equivalent work experience Marketing, advertising or communications or related field

Additional Required Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in stewardship of brands
Demonstrated experience in developing brand campaigns, launching new products
Expertise in leading brand marketing research and monitoring brand performance
Proven ability to working within budget and time deadlines, and reporting on metrics.
Experience leading and coordinating with brand agencies and enterprise cross functional teams.
Ability to resolve issues and barriers.
Ability to build relationships within the business area, across the organization and external partners.

What We Would Prefer:• Experience in rebranding or launching a new brand • Demonstrated experience in consumer health industry

General Physical Demands
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.
