The Company

At Springboard, we’re on a mission to bridge the world’s skills gap, offering transformative online education in data science, UI/UX design, machine learning, cybersecurity and coding. Our courses may be tech-enabled, but we're ultimately human-centric: each student taps into a vast community throughout their time with us, engaging with fellow students, industry-expert mentors, student advisors, and career coaches, the goal of which is to successfully transition students into their dream job. Through this hybrid approach, we’ve helped thousands of learners revamp their careers and, by extension, their lives, with hundreds of top-notch job offers received every year and a near-perfect placement rate for our program graduates.

The Opportunity

We’ve seen incredible revenue growth so far and have branched into University Partnerships -- think of it as a startup within a startup! We’re now looking for a Senior Growth Marketing Manager to join the team to scale revenue by refining and executing the user acquisition strategy for our University-branded courses. The ideal candidate is a data-driven, user-focused marketer, who can both think strategically and dive into the details.

As Springboard’s in-house Senior Growth Marketing Manager, you’ll own funnels; optimize every step; create and improve bottoms-up plans; build and test new audiences, platforms, and flows; question everything; and never settle! You’ll work closely with the admissions, operations, and analytics teams to understand our users, and to deploy resources (time, money, people) most effectively. Reporting to the General Manager, University Partnerships, you’ll be responsible for meeting our ambitious user acquisition goals — and transforming thousands of lives in the process.

Please note that this role can be performed out of the San Francisco office or remotely within the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute and manage user acquisition funnels and campaigns across channels (including paid search, social media, email, display, retargeting, etc)
  • Identify the highest-impact testing opportunities; prioritize, experiment, iterate, learn, and optimize constantly — whether with channels, messaging, positioning or personas — based on ROAS, LTV, and conversion rates.
  • Own and manage a marketing budget & KPIs for each course you work with.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders (Analytics, Product, Operations, General Managers) to identify new approaches & user segments, and develop creative digital campaigns that pique our audience’s interest.
  • Constantly report your learnings so the broader team can learn from them!

You

  • Bring 3+ years of experience in paid and organic user acquisition strategy and have a wide-ranging understanding of digital channels.
  • Have a successful history of interfacing and collaborating with external agencies and cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, etc)
  • Are an expert in analytics systems (eg. Google Analytics), data analysis, and algorithmic attribution models; prior experience with Hubspot and SQL / Tableau is a plus.
  • Are proficient in Excel, using Pivot Tables, vlookups & PowerPivotsHave good design and UX sensibility, with successful examples of past campaigns
