The Retention Marketing team is responsible for developing marketing campaigns targeting self-serve Atlas users in order to drive activation, engagement, growth, and resurrection. Embedded within a cross-functional growth team, you will work closely with product, developer relations, product marketing, and marketing operations to develop lifecycle marketing campaigns focused on the entire end-to-end user journey.

This role can be based out of our New York City office or remotely in the North America region.

What you’ll do

  • Design, execute, measure, and scale programs to effectively increase self-service engagement for MongoDB Atlas
  • Perform strategic product, market, and customer analyses to identify new growth drivers or opportunities for improvement
  • Deeply assess our entire customer acquisition process and customer journey to identify, champion, and drive the cross-functional execution of optimizations that will drive greater leverage and scale in the business
  • Continuously optimize programs and channels through experiments and A/B tests
  • Collaborate closely with the product team to continuously optimize the user acquisition journey
  • Uncover and leverage new emerging channels and opportunities to accelerate growth
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on KPIs to ensure marketing initiatives are reaching revenue objectives
  • Effectively communicate projects and their outcomes across the business

About you:

  • 5+ years of B2D and/or B2B growth experience
  • Customer (Developer) Driven - everything you do is driven by providing the best possible experience to our customers and users
  • Deep understanding of software development processes and methodologies
  • Understanding of the big picture (market, customers, company) but also the details to successfully scale
  • Data-driven - you are passionate about objectively measuring your efforts and only making decisions based on data
  • Collaborative - you love working with others and incorporating relevant feedback
  • Possess an owner mentality - you take complete ownership of your tasks and champion efforts to get them to completion
  • Adaptable - you are calm and effective under pressure and able to quickly pivot. You excel at task prioritization and proper evaluation of situational urgency
  • Focused - you know what matters and apply yourself with gusto, continuously exploring how much faster you can learn and execute
