The Red Hat North American Field Marketing is looking for a Senior Field Marketing Manager to join us. In this role, you will develop and implement successful demand generation, sales acceleration, and customer engagement programs for the Northeast U.S. sales region. You'll use market insight, as well as regional marketing campaigns and program materials, to facilitate customer engagement, build the pipeline, accelerate sales, and generate revenue, using clearly defined success metrics to track and report results. This is a great opportunity to collaborate with senior sales leadership as well as regional, strategic, channel, program, operations, public sector, and corporate marketing teams to promote revenue in North America while supporting key corporate marketing initiatives. What you will do
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the Northeast Sales team
- Collaborate with senior sales leadership to understand market dynamics and key sales objectives, identify market opportunities, and define the right field marketing programs to promote current and prospective customer engagement, generate new business, cross-sell and up-sell pipeline, and accelerate sales
- Work with cross-functional marketing teams to create, support, and carry out field marketing programs in the region
- Communicate relevant market insight to sales leadership
- Communicate relevant marketing initiatives, sales training, events, product announcements, sales enablement tools, and resources to the northeast Sales team
- Work with North American Marketing and Operations teams to ensure proper lead importing, nurturing, and tracking
- Report field marketing program and campaign results to sales leadership and stakeholders
- Support the development and implementation of product launch plans within the region
What you will bring
- 12+ years of business-to-business (B2B) marketing experience, preferably in a field marketing capacity
- Prior software industry experience
- History of managing successful marketing campaigns and programs to acquire new customers, grow solution and product presence in existing installed base, broaden and deepen engagement with contacts in target accounts, and accelerate sales
- Experience working with sales leadership and cross-functional teams
- Positive attitude and good work ethic
- Excellent organizational, presentation, and communication skills
- Thorough understanding of direct sales needs, different stages of the customer buying cycle, campaign metrics and analysis, and market intelligence resources
- Ability to demonstrate leadership, creativity, and initiative
- Willingness to travel up to 25% in line with Red Hat's COVID-19 guidelines
