The Marketing & Communications team is responsible for connecting the world to lifelong transformative learning. They also work to shape public conversations on the future of education and work. The team is segmented into four areas of focus: Consumer Marketing, Enterprise Marketing, Brand & Creative, and Communications. The team is currently focused on expanding the reach of Coursera’s brand and bringing new learners to the platform, connecting students to degree programs, attracting new enterprise customers — including businesses, governments, and campuses — and creating a marketing system that nurtures learners throughout their professional lives. Reporting to the Senior Director of Brand Marketing, the Senior Enterprise Brand Strategist is responsible for developing the enterprise brand and marketing strategy, leading brand campaigns, managing enterprise brand health across channels, and collaborating with PMM to build a meaningful story between product and brand for customers around the world. 

This role will drive brand strategy for Coursera’s Enterprise marketing team and shape the way that Coursera for Business, Coursera for Governments, and Coursera for Campus impacts the future of work and learning around the world. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop, lead, and manage the brand strategy and branded experiences for Coursera for Business, Coursera for Governments, and Coursera for Campus across campaigns, events, customer journeys, participatory programs, and co-branded partnerships 
  • Create and own brand health goals and performance metrics; monitor regularly to understand effectiveness of strategy and creative, identifying opportunities to differentiate Coursera’s solutions across business, government, and campus audiences
  • Serve as an expert in Coursera’s enterprise solutions, audience, and industry space in order to advise on product market fit and develop engagement strategies, and marketing campaigns at a global and regional level
  • Define core enterprise brand messaging, drive overall enterprise editorial and social media strategy, and partner on execution across channels and assets to build awareness, brand sentiment, and fuel business success
  • Develop scalable training resources, including insight-driven creative briefs, to equip our global enterprise team deliver best in class, branded experiences across all touchpoints 
  • Lead the campaign strategy, shape the creative, and oversee the execution of breakthrough integrated marketing programs and partnerships that build brand awareness and relevance with key target audiences 

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of global brand marketing experience with experience in brand awareness and perception in the B2B space
  • 2+ years in brand leadership experience
  • Expertise in brand strategy, management, and marketing
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing or related degree
  • Agency experience
  • Experience working in the learning and development space with familiarity in higher education, business, and/or government audiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent ability, with case study experience, in building distinct, impactful brand identities
  • Proven ability connecting brand building initiatives to business metrics and synthesizing key insights that launch world-class creative work 
  • Experience planning and executing omni-channel brand campaigns including briefing, building, executing, optimizing, and reporting impact
  • Impactful verbal and written communicator, comfortable digging into the details of brand performance, industry space, audience needs, and product market fit to present action-oriented summaries and recommendations to executive teams 
  • Ability to define key priorities and set a strategic plan that delivers clear business results and track brand performance across regional markets
