The PMM Director leads a team of product marketers who are responsible for building out the SCIM GTM strategy and execution plans to deliver customer & partner success, resulting in revenue, growth and share outcomes for SCIM priorities. The individual must influence Area senior leadership and develop strong partnerships to ensure integrated execution of Security Priorities across marketing, partner, services and sales.
Security, Compliance, Identity and Management (SCIM) business is a critical growth driver for the company and core need of US Government customers. Our growth strategy consists of partnering with the US Government to accelerate adoption of security capabilities to raise the nation's cybersecurity baseline. Microsoft is well-positioned to help solve the hardest problems facing the US and provide an increasing share of cybersecurity TAM.
Based on deep knowledge of customer, products, and competitors, the PMM Director will build locally relevant customer offers and co-marketing partnerships and integrate these into the commercial sales motions. The individual will be responsible for overseeing and managing the investments in Security and broad marketing and digital media outreach initiatives in close collaboration with our Federal marketing team.Responsibilities

  • Empower customers to accelerate zero trust adoption using end-to-end Microsoft Security solutions. Accountable for the business goals and targets of the product group across revenue and usage'
  • Establish subsidiary influence and leadership enabling Business Units to create and land timely and quality integrated plans that are fully supported by the BU Leaders.
  • Lead and enable cross subsidiary commitments from sales, services, customer success, marketing managers, and partners to fully execute these plans.
  • Lead and orchestration marketing investments and plans supporting priorities to help Modernize, Secure, and Defend the US Government. Evangelize security solutions with customers and partners via marketing events, campaigns, and sales engagements.
  • Establish Microsoft Security thought leadership in the Federal space, increasing share of voice in CISO roundtables & communities and harmonizing with CMO efforts.
  • Drive customer and business outcomes by executing local Go-To-Market plan to exceed targets.
  • Lead the SCIM business rhythm in alignment with other business owners. Lead, support, and influence solution area business reviews.
  • Partner with other solution area marketing roles to leverage resources and/or initiatives for a more impactful and holistic plan.
  • Manage the escalation processes in competitive situations and distill the learnings from win/loss reviews to drive systematic change in the subsidiary.
  • Review, monitor, and adjust the strategies and action plans to accelerate our market share growth against our prioritized competitors and build field compete muscle.
  • Influence the SCIM product planning and prioritization to achieve key Federal customer outcomes.

QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND proven experience in business
o OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND experience in business
o OR equivalent experience; relevant product marketing, solutions sales.• Indirect people management experience (or virtual teams).• Product and customer focused• Deep understanding of product advocacy and evangelism• Core marketing experience (positioning and messaging)• Strong analytical and data skills• Excellent communicator• Experienced in core marketing communications functions• Being a conduit between technology and business with the voice of customer in mind
US Citizenship: The successful candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements.
Cloud Screening: Candidates must be able to successfully complete and pass a Microsoft Cloud background screening. Required Cloud Screenings will be administered on a recurring bi-annual basis.
