Job Description
Our Animal Health Marketing team takes a customer centric perspective using customer feedback and market intelligence data. Using this data, we design, develop and deploy products, platforms, brands and marketing initiatives that ensure we can improve the health and well-being of animals everywhere.
Our Marketing team is passionate about bringing our medicines and vaccines to our customers around the world. Through digital listening and patient analytics, we are able to understand our customers' needs and strive to provide solutions to meet them.
We are looking for a business savvy, technology driven, customer-centric Senior Digital Capabilities Manager to join our growing our company's Animal Health Companion Animal Integrated Customer Experience Team critical for digital transformation. This role is responsible for spearheading and executing all cross-functional digital capabilities projects in collaboration with Global IT, Marketing, Sales and Commercial Operation teams. The incumbent should demonstrate a strong understanding of enterprise systems, Salesforce and VEEVA CRM capabilities and have an ability to align them to commercial growth' objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic

  • Drive planning and implementation of customer experience strategies to ensure coherence of different sales and marketing activities across different channels and touch points.
  • Identify main drivers, enablers and barriers for long-term digital transformation initiatives, determine appropriate platforms required for leveraging digital disruption in our industry to drive growth.
  • Coordinate business systems and processes specifically focused on customer experience and business efficiencies which may include translating deeply technical and business level documentation, identifying areas of digital enablement and designing delivery path.


Leadership

  • Orchestrate the shift in mindsets, approaches, and practices to fully unlock the potential of digital services and solutions to better serve our customers.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales, internal IT service and strategy and channel teams, and external vendors to define, prioritize, plan, build, deliver, and support digital transformation with pace and precision.
  • Operate independently in a fast-paced environment with an agile workflow; must be adaptable and willing to take on additional responsibilities if necessary.
  • Work in an ambiguous environment coordinating multiple projects across various cross-functional teams.
  • Get into the detail, roll up sleeves and execute tactics as needed while operating at a strategic level.


Technical

  • Lead the delivery of pilots and projects, including prototyping, design, development, architecture, testing, integration, and deployment.
  • Design, build, and manage the lifecycle of digital tools, systems, and capabilities in support of cross-functional teams while optimizing business processes.
  • Work closely with internal technical teams and agency partners to develop solution architectures for new capabilities, ensuring they satisfy business needs are appropriately aligned with Enterprise Architecture (EA) principles & practice.
  • Serve as a key partner to develop MarTech roadmap for digital transformation which includes analyzing macro trends and changing consumers behaviors, providing inputs, prioritizing initiatives and supporting IT in preparing technical business requirements documentation.
  • Develop a data governance framework in collaboration with enterprise architects, including a data governance approach, and road map for the data relevant to the Commercial organization aligning with desired customer experience


Qualification
Required

  • At least 6 years of experience in digital, technical, or other commercial digital transformation and implementation role with increasing responsibilities in a digital savvy organization.
  • At least 3 years' experience in digital marketing with demonstrated substantial understanding of enterprise solutions and CRM platforms such as VEEVA CRM, SalesForce Marketing and Sales Clouds , Einstein Analytics and Next Best Action, Machine learning, Artificial
  • Must have demonstrated success delivering strategic systems and capability structures, enterprise integrations, reporting and analytics, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Understanding of GDPR, CCPA, and HIPPA in a pharmaceutical regulatory environment.

Preferred

  • Solution Architecture experience or experience collaborating with digital change management efforts
  • Understanding of the basics of software development and architecture, ins and outs of web standards, design and usability, insight into operational considerations for a SaaS/API environment, background in Agile or other incremental development approaches and cross-functional work environments
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as HTML, CSS, query languages such as SQL, Python, C+ and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Infogram, D3.js

Education
Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field


Preferred

  • Master's degree or equivalent Digital Marketing Certification
  • Veeva / Salesforce certification and administration
  • Project Management Professional certification
