Please review the following job description:

Create compelling content for client marketing communications and experience channels. Deliver the Truist brand voice to provide a consistent and distinctive content experience that helps drive sales, leads, engagement, retention, and positive client behavior.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

1. Work within Truist's in-house agency. Team up with lines of business partners, product owners, UX, UI, and visual designers, and other key stakeholders to deliver distinctive client experiences with compelling content.

2. Analyze, plan, develop, and implement content strategy to meet marketing objectives for aligned team(s). This could include using research and the appropriate tactics for our various audiences and channels.

3. Create, write, edit, and deliver content that's compelling, creative, easy to understand, on-brand, and backed by data and research. Content could be for websites, applications, emails, videos, whitepapers, social media, ads, brochures, direct mail, and marketing or service channels.

4. Nurture and protect the Truist brand voice through application of our voice and message principles, effective written communication, peer review, agency consultation, ongoing training and education, and pair writing with SMEs.

5. Contribute and adhere to the editorial strategy, style guide, and standards to ensure quality, consistency and brand alignment across product families within Truist.

6. Provide leadership on content solutions by understanding, applying, and disseminating content strategies and best practices in cross-functional teams.

7. Utilize appropriate technologies and content methodologies to capture, store, deliver and preserve Truist content.

8. Practice quality assurance procedures at each deliverable stage to maintain content integrity and ensure that content meets project specifications and standards.

Required Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

1. Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent education and related training

2. 5+ years of content marketing-related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

3. Excellent writing and editing skills, including advertising/promotional copywriting, copyediting, wordsmithing, voice and tone adaptation based on audience and channel

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Excellent communication skills, including ability to present ideas and solutions in a clear and compelling way

2. Ability to think strategically and creatively to achieve marketing objectives and optimize the client experience

3. Specialized content marketing and/or broad knowledge and expertise of principles, practices, theories, and/or methodologies associated with the Marketing discipline (e.g., Marketing P's, Market research, analytics, digital)

4. Technical proficiency with Microsoft suite and Adobe creative suite

5. Financial institution experience

6. Master's degree in English, Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field

OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS

Visual / Audio / Speaking
Able to access and interpret client information received from the computer and able to hear and speak with individuals in person and on the phone.
Manual Dexterity / Keyboarding
Able to work standard office equipment, including PC keyboard and mouse, copy/fax machines, and printers.
Availability
Able to work all hours scheduled, including overtime as directed by manager/supervisor and required by business need.
