Job Description

As an individual contributor on the Client Value Promotion Team, you will be a part of the larger U.S. Client Communications and Engagement Team at Cerner. This Senior Communications Partner will be responsible for creating and writing client facing value centric communications products, messages, and content (i.e., value statements, client achievement stories, quarterly/annual client reports, and client value testimonials, etc.). Strong writing and communication skills are required for this position to successfully produce client success content and distribute on multiple channels. This role will also be responsible for regular engagements with the Cerner client teams early in the creation process to help secure project objectives, metrics, and client approvals.

As a Senior Communications Partner, you will also be asked to lead the overall client success tracking process/pipeline to identify priority products based on input from many Cerner client teams and ensure coordination between teams. You will also need to use data to identify opportunities to enhance the value tracking process across the client journey.

Once created, this role will help oversee the process to measure impact of client value statements and stories by tracking usage and distribution. The impact reports are critical inputs to future work and planning. Finally, this role also acts as a liaison with Cerner Corporate Marketing and Communications to disseminate, distribute and promote priority value points, statements, and stories.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 8 years total combined higher education and related work experience, including:
    • At least 2 years communications, corporate affairs and/or public relations work experience.
    • At least 6 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education including:
      • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
