Senior Brand Manager
Grammarly offers a remote-first hybrid working model. Team members can work primarily remotely. Starting in 2022, teams will meet in person every quarter in one of Grammarly’s hubs, currently in San Francisco, Vancouver, New York, and Kyiv. To ensure that teams are able to overlap in their working hours and to meet face-to-face when needed, all team members need to live within three time zones of their direct team.

To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re looking for a Senior Brand Manager to join our Brand Marketing team. The Senior Brand Manager will play a key role in building and implementing the Grammarly brand strategy. They will work closely with the Head of Brand and partner with marketing insights and communications teams. This is an unique opportunity to contribute to the evolution of the brand strategy for a fast-growing iconic unicorn brand.
Your impact
As we work continuously to improve lives by improving communication and, more immediately, to position ourselves beyond simple Grammar and spell-checking, the Senior Brand Manager will play a direct role in elevating Grammarly's marketing activities to align with our newly refined brand position. This will be critical in delivering brand recognition and preference among our target audiences and driving growth.
In this role, you will:
- Influence marketing planning through highly effective communication with stakeholders to meet strategic organization and brand objectives
- Synthesize user insights and industry perspectives on key aspects of favorability and consideration; identify and prioritize tensions of specific audience segments for awareness campaigns
- Support the definition of key messages and creation of integrated marketing campaigns to connect with customers and drive engagement and brand preference.
- Test, iterate and measure the impact of campaign strategies on awareness and perception and adjust accordingly to optimize for results and KPIs.
- Guide the development and implementation of corporate brand initiatives inclusive of (user trust, employer brand, social responsibility, diversity, and inclusion)

- Has expertise in Brand, strong knowledge of Product Marketing, and foundational knowledge of Lifecycle Marketing, Acquisition, Growth, and Sales.
- Has a proven track record developing and implementing brand strategies across audiences, channels and markets
- Has command of foundational methods of research and data gathering: surveys, interviews, focus groups, including brand tracking.
- Has either strong B2B and consumer marketing experience or strong consumerized B2B experience (e.g. Slack).
- Understands brand measurement techniques and optimization.
