Cox Media is seeking a creative and enthusiastic professional for a Sr. Marketing Communications Specialist to support our Business to Business YurView product . YurView is Cox Media's owned and operated video distribution platform YurView produces and distributes programming of local interest on the YurView Channel which is available to Cox Communications cable customers and all others online.
The YurView Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, programs, and materials for Cox Media's local origination network YurView. This includes sales collateral and assets utilized by local markets to integrate YurView into advertising campaigns with an end goal of attracting new clients, growing total advertising spend with existing clients, and reducing overall client churn. This role will also occasionally help with consumer-focused YurView promotional tactics designed to drive consumption of YurView content across all platforms. Serves as the resident expert on YurView product positioning, YurView client opportunities, YurView sales materials, and brand integrity.
Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions

  • Creates and updates design elements, copy-writing and overall brand cohesiveness of YurView sales collateral pieces, sponsorship/package templates, promotional videos and other tools that support local market sales efforts while maintaining brand cohesiveness and consistency of message.
  • Collaborates with vendors and internal creative teams to create 30 second and short form videos that promote YurView programming and highlight our client partnerships for use in sales channels or client fulfillment.
  • Utilizes internal Cox Media communications channels to highlight upcoming YurView client opportunities.
  • Utilizes internal Cox Communications channels to build awareness of YurView programming, YurView in the community and successful YurView campaigns for Cox Media clients.
  • Maintains the YurView Marketing campaign dashboard and communicates changes or additions.
  • Create or collaborate to create YurView social media content for LinkedIn to create awareness around YurView client opportunities and share overviews of successful campaigns.
  • Monitors and reports on YurView B2B focused social media.
  • Partners with Sr Manager Marketing & Field Support and YurView Market Managers to assess the marketing collateral needs of the local sales teams and ensure they are being met.
  • Functions as internal expert on best practices for client fulfillment posts on YurView platforms. (SEO, images, post layout, etc.)
  • Writes blogs/articles for yurview.com.


Requirements
Minimum

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4 years' experience in a related field.
  • The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 2 years' experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 8 years' experience in a related field
  • Requires strong knowledge of social media content creation and management, PowerPoint and excellent copywriting skills.
  • Proven ability to write effective advertising and digital copy, developing campaigns and execution.
  • Proven ability to convey ideas and build engagement through written copy and video messages.
  • Strong ability to work across departmental boundaries to drive toward common goals.
  • Proven ability to develop detailed work plans and execute under pressure. Must be able to work independently and deliver measurable results.
  • Must be a team-player and thrive in an environment that promotes strong individual skills that are easily applied to goals of the team and company.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced and sometime ambiguous environment, complete multiple tasks at one time, meet deadlines and self-recognize and adapt to priorities that change often.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organization, detail, problem-solving and follow-up skills. Exudes a professional image inside and outside the company.
  • Ability to build and maintain constructive partnerships with diverse group of internal and external work groups.
  • Shows commitment to self-development by demonstrated desire to learn new ways of doing business, staying abreast of competitors/industry major initiatives.
  • Ability to influence people that don't report into the position.
  • Strategic analysis and planning experience.
  • PC skills required, including strong working knowledge of all MS products.


Preferred

  • BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly desired (i.e., Marketing, Advertising, Business, etc.).
  • Experience in B2B and consumer product marketing


USD 70,000.00 - 105,000.00 per year
