Senior Associate, Display Digital Marketing Specialist

The Display Senior Associate will be responsible for overseeing an agency as well as working directly with third party publishers in marketing campaign execution for some of Capital One’s key digital acquisition channels - Display and Online Video. Marketing campaign management will include activities such as new campaign launches, test launches, process improvements, and optimization across our active Paid Display programs. The Senior Associate will have experience running Display and Online Video campaigns and have experience with Google and other relevant platforms. They will also stay in-tune with all digital marketing best practices.

We are open to considering remote candidates for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage an agency and collaborate with third party publishers in executing display and online video campaigns and testing new/emerging digital marketing channels

  • Serve as the subject matter expert in display and online video with knowledge of various DSPs, campaign settings, optimization techniques, creative and automation

  • Ensure the channel is run in a well managed way, seeking approvals, documenting launches and looking for ways to optimize processes

  • Collaborate with internal partners to develop digital strategies for product launches, run tests and scale opportunities to grow new customer acquisition

  • Perform daily management of display and online video campaigns from planning and execution to analysis and reporting; launch campaigns error-free and identify opportunities for performance optimizations

  • Develop and execute campaign testing agenda, including; audiences, settings, creative, landing page, and channel expansion testing

  • Coordinate across internal teams including Compliance, Brand Marketing, Customer Experience, Analytics, Data, Technology etc. to execute display strategies End to End.

  • Partner with business analytics team to understand campaign performance and how we measure success

  • Manage and strengthen relationship with third party publisher, relationships with Google, Verizon and other vendors to ensure account teams bring value through their services

  • “Self-starter”, strong organizational skills, ownership mentality, ability to prioritize workloads, and fast learner of new digital marketing and Display specific technology tools

  • Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversions, and online customer acquisition

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and technologies, betas, and new opportunities; advise on new ways to reach audiences

  • Ability to work with high-performing team mates, as well as partners across the enterprise 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ degree or Military experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in Display or Social advertising 

  • At least 1 year of experience analyzing and evaluating campaign performance

  • At least 1 year of experience in project management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters in Business Administration 

  • At least 3 years of experience in display and online video marketing managing high volume accounts and large media budgets

  • Experience in other digital marketing channels such as Addressable TV, Connected TV, Digital Audio, Social, etc. 

  • At least 2 years of experience in project management

  • At least 1 year of experience in product development

  • At least 1 year of experience in DV 360 and Campaign Manager
