Senior Associate - Digital Marketing Project Manager
The Retail Bank Marketing team is looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Producer / Project Manager. This critical team member will partner with internal Digital Marketing teams and our external Digital Agency to bring the Capital One brand to life in an array of digital marketing channels including, Social Media, SEM, Display, Discovery, and Affiliate Channels.
This Digital Marketing Project Manager (MPM) role will be a member of the Retail Bank Marketing centralized Campaign Project Management team and partner closely with the Digital Marketing teams driving the end-to-end strategy and development of marketing that drives primary, profitable checking accounts and savings accounts. This MPM will efficiently traffic Marketing intent through each phase of the development and delivery processes, in a well managed way.
The right candidate will be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, from initiation through launch and post-launch activities. The Project Manager will drive projects forward by understanding business intent and goals, success criteria, platform approach, timelines, dependencies, and risks while championing best in class marketing technology and test and learn approaches focused on constant optimization.
General Responsibilities:
Project & Resource Planning
- Partner with Retail Bank Marketing Teams and our Digital Agency to plan, design, manage and execute project plans, ensuring campaign deliverables and timelines are met in a well managed way
- Manage multiple project plans in a complex and dynamic environment, revising and ensuring dependencies and risks are captured and communicated
- Partner with Digital Marketing teams and Digital Agency to launch brand marketing in new digital channels
- Partner cross-functionally across partner teams and external vendors to provide strategic and tactical thought leadership to ensure error-free launch and edits of our marketing plans
- Identify risks and issues and mitigate and / or escalate, as needed
- Support frequent optimizations of our in-market strategies by ensuring we have all proper documentation and processes completed to launch
Creative Governance
- Usher creative assets through Legal, Compliance and other partner approvals; manage regular cadence of creative re-approvals and refreshes in Always-On channels
- Steward the development of marketing creative for new campaigns and channels, ensuring appropriate alignment from legal, risk, and brand partners.
- Own all campaign documentation and approval processes related to campaigns, to ensure on demand audit readiness.
Media Trafficking
- Coordinate delivery of assets between internal creative and external Digital Agency, including creatives, UTM parameters, and campaign tags.
- Own documenting, updating, and maintaining creative library, ad specs, trafficking, and workflow procedures
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
- At least 2 years of Project Management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Project Management experience
- Digital Marketing Experience (SEM, SEO, Display, Social)
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) journey building experience
- Experience managing projects in highly regulated industries
- PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
- Strong problem solving and influencing skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- 1+ years of experience achieving results with complex projects
- 1+ years of experience in direct marketing channels and digital campaign execution
- 1+ years of Project Management experience in an agile environment
