As the Senior Analyst, Marketing Planning & Analytics, you will report directly to the Director of Marketing Analytics and be responsible for driving insights to inform key business decisions. Your mission is to bring global operational excellence to Egnyte’s growth function from lead generation to pipeline to revenue.

You will work closely with Marketing Leadership, Sales Operations, IT, and Finance teams to support global Marketing as well as the cross-functional Global GTM Team. You will partner closely with the Demand Gen and BDR/SDR teams to provide insights to improve pipeline velocity and conversion rates based on data and analytics.


What you can expect to work on

  • Drive the pipeline reporting that supports our global marketing team
  • Develop appropriate recommendations based on data analysis (e.g. why Lead quantity/quality is going up/down, volume spikes, etc.)
  • Build and own performance-based reports to ensure key stakeholders have access to accurate and timely information at varying levels of granularity
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to dig into performance and answer marketing related questions for key stakeholders
  • Help support creation of measurement framework to assist with spend allocation decisions, campaign execution, and internal storytelling
  • Develop and manage the budget tracking document for the Marketing team
  • Support the development of a repository and single source of truth for marketing analytics information including templates, planning inputs, and reports/dashboards

What you need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s Degree In Marketing, Business, Finance or related discipline required
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in B2B marketing operations, with a depth of experience in enterprise SaaS
  • Experience in managing a marketing budget with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience writing new SQL queries
  • Experience using tools such as Tableau, Looker, Domo, or other BI tools
  • Understanding of Salesforce and Marketo
  • Intermediate Excel/Google Sheets experience (Vlookups, Pivots, etc)
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Strong quantitative skills including the ability to analyze and interpret data, with accuracy
  • Ability to quickly respond to requested changes and identify process improvements
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, work independently, and be able to chart direction of projects
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, while being team-focused
