Job Summary
The Senior Affiliate Strategist will lead the Affiliate Marketing Channel at Hawke Media. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience on the advertiser/client side of managing various affiliate programs on different affiliate networks such as Rakuten, Pepperjam, Impact, etc. Acting as the liaison on behalf of the client, the manager will be responsible for recruiting publishers and managing publisher relationships along with working directly with affiliate networks to optimize programs and grow revenue.
This candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, be results-driven, and highly motivated to work both, independently and in a team. They will be proactive with setting strategic affiliate marketing goals, meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks with ease.
Job Responsibilities

  • Launching new and managing existing affiliate programs for clients
  • Prepare marketing campaigns and agendas to present to clients during meetings on a weekly basis
  • Generate and analyze reports, trends and other data to effectively communicate results and insights back to clients
  • Work with affiliate networks to learn of new platforms and tools, optimize programs and utilize Hawke Media's agency services to benefit clients
  • Negotiate placements, collaborations, exclusives and other optimization opportunities with publishers to build successful partnerships and affiliate strategies
  • Create and update creatives on a regular basis that align with clients' in-house and affiliate exclusive calendars
  • Monitor publishers in regards to performance, use of creatives, bidding rights and optimization
  • Work with the Business Development team to educate them and help sell affiliate marketing services to prospective clients
  • Identify when existing clients would be a good fit for affiliate marketing and upsell them into affiliate marketing services


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a related field of study
  • Extremely knowledgeable in affiliate marketing with the ability to train/educate others
  • 2+ years of experience in launching and managing various affiliate programs on the advertiser/client-side
  • Experience working with top affiliate networks such as Rakuten, Impact Radius, Pepperjam and CJ
  • Experience managing multiple accounts/clients
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive and Google Analytics
  • Positive attitude with the willingness to learn and grow
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
