Retail Marketing Manager
Resident is an industry-leader in the Direct-to-Consumer mattress and home furnishings category. Since our founding of the award-winning Nectar Sleep in 2016 (with over 1 million happy sleepers and counting), we have also launched the Dreamcloud, Awara and Level Sleep brands to cater to a variety of sleep preferences. What You’ll Be Doing
- Champion a “retail-mindset” in our current marketing activities to enhance the online to in-store experience.
- Own all aspects of co-marketing digital media initiatives both pre and post launch: inquiries, trafficking, tracking, tagging, monitoring, reporting, planning, project management, etc.
- Manage relationships with retailer counterparts and facilitate cooperative marketing spend and sharing of sales intelligence.
- Encourage full product lineups in stores and more prominent presence/positioning on retail floors.
- Deep understanding of in-store retailer marketing and customer journey.
Qualifications
- Degree in Marketing, Business or Communications (or related field).
- 3+ years of relevant experience in marketing for a brand, retailer or agency.
- Ability to build strong relationships cross-functionally as well as collaborate with outside agencies and vendors.
- Strong attention to detail & organization skills in a fast paced, start-up environment.
- Able to think critically, creatively, troubleshoot and problem solve.
- Ability to meet deadlines and anticipate next steps/needs.
- Ability to meet performance goals for metrics and KPIs.
- Comfortable with working from home and being a self-starter.
- Exceptional interpersonal and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge in web tools such as Google Suite, Slack, Asana.
- Proficiency with Photoshop or Figma is preferred.
- Experience in the home furnishings industry, franchising and/or at retail a plus
