General Summary:
General Summary
The Response Marketing Manager is responsible for the development, oversight and execution of effective activation strategies and tactics designed to drive customer response and overall customer growth. This position requires a seasoned marketing professional who can design and create engagement techniques directed to influence buyers' behavior. Emphasis will be on developing message strategies, effective outreach plans and innovative offerings throughout the purchase journey to inform, enable and influence customer interactions. This leader will have a strong sense of the customer based on analytical insights and behavioral interactions.

The Response Marketing Manager must be a versatile communicator, strong collaborator with key partners and skilled at maximizing results through successful response mechanisms with our key audiences.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for developing, testing and implementing proven direct marketing programs to grow and accelerate lead generation
  • Lead the planning and execution of strategy, tactics and measurement of customer interactions throughout lead funnel
  • Leverages insights and analysis to identify activation effectiveness and outreach performance
  • Understand the target audience and optimize messaging to persuade them to convert (behaviors, interests, motivations, what they will and won't respond to, where they hang out online and how we can appeal to them)
  • Architecting communication paths for outreach teams to leverage multiple channels, establish cadences and develop optimized timing structures
  • Developing ideas for our online and email marketing campaigns throughout our entire conversion funnel
  • Collaborating with designers and writers to highlight and promote the right aspects of the copy/design to yield the readers' actions we desire
  • Ability to analyze, interpret data, and continually evolve activation strategy based on key learnings
  • Creating engagement opportunities in multiple channels including emails, digital marketing ads, text placements, landing pages, LinkedIn Inmail and other digital outreach platforms
  • Exude positive energy and rally the organization behind the goals of understanding the audience, innovating outreach and driving continued pipeline growth



Job Specifications

  • Bachelor's degree, in Marketing, Content Development or Communications
  • Minimum of 5-7 years relevant experience
  • Flexibility, creativity and a sense of urgency
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage and prioritize evolving priorities and multiple demands on time/resources
  • Strong leadership and collaborative capabilities positively impacting employees and partners
  • Excellent negotiating, leadership, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to supervise and motivate others
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
  • Attention to detail, organization, thoroughness, and quality
