Job Summary:
Lead in the creation, production, and implementation of marketing communication materials to promote the sale of Individual Disability Insurance products and services.
What You'll Do
Lead the development of copy and content for individual disability insurance marketing mass communications. This includes, but is not limited to sales promotion materials, articles, websites, press releases, agency and producer newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, and producer sales aids. Collaborate with members of IDI's sales and sales enablement teams to ensure development of quality marketing and training materials. Oversee the production and timeline of marketing materials, including selecting appropriate processes, monitoring quality, and approving finished product. Provide review and editing of electronic and printed communications, including IDI's Internet and Intranet content.
Participate in projects by providing recommendations regarding content development for new material and for changes to existing material. Deliver training on developed marketing materials and sales aids used for product promotion and broker recruitment to sales and sales enablement teams. Research and analyze current marketing and industry trends to remain abreast of emerging communications techniques, competitor materials, and marketing opportunities
Assist in the development of new products, product updates, services, and marketing plans through participation on product development teams. Write and execute communication strategy (as part of broader marketing strategy) for the launch of new products and existing product updates
Facilitate the compliance review process for marketing materials by serving as liaison between corporate marketing/communications and IDI stakeholders/subject matter experts (FUW operations - new business/inforce, GSI/GME operations - new business/inforce, actuarial, administration, marketing communications, and compliance/legal) in the corporate Mass Communications Corporate Review process.
Participate on cross-divisional committees to develop and ensure compliance with The Standard's brand - corporate written and graphic standards.
The Skills and Background You'll Need
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design or related field.
Experience: 5 to 10 years demonstrated experience in the development of written communication/marketing materials for disability products, insurance/financial services products, or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience. Demonstrated experience using MS Office (Word and PowerPoint) MS Teams, Adobe Creative Cloud, as well as html coding.

The Standard's package also includes incentive plan participation and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement, and paid time off.

Salary Range:
$62,000.00 - $108,800.00
