This position supports the on-going development, expansion and management of Tier 2 Regional and Dealer Group Advertising in the Northcentral Region. This position is remote. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in dealer/group digital advertising, media planning, advertising implementation, working with remote operations/support teams and addressing several layers of regional and dealer clients. Along with a practical understanding and expert working knowledge of Tier 2 programs and their Advertising Agency of record (AORs) operations. The ability to work internally with Ad Operations, Business Intelligence and creative services to develop strategic digital marketing campaigns for regions/dealer groups. Strategic marketing and sales skills are also required for development of and expansion of regional/LMA digital advertising plans. In addition, strong interpretation skills that can translate analytics/value to regional/dealer group audiences in order to expand the business. The ability to communicate digital marketing as part of a broader media mix. Represent media performance with dealer groups and communicate digital marketing value.

What you will do:

  • Provide expert consulting related to advertising products and the ability to sell new ideas, strategies, and media opportunities to Agencies or OEMs
  • Develop and communicate advertising strategies for regional and dealer group audiences in order to expand and sell products, promotions, and other activities that will build value in the program. 
  • Maintain support for top-level VIP dealer clients through troubleshooting issues and coordination with the integration teams that may be developing unique deliverables for these dealers.
  • Maintain a balance of relationships across OEMs, Agencies, and Dealers and know how to work across these Client groups seamlessly and cohesively as one team.
  • Provide primary contact for Advertising/Marketing operations to ensure consistent and complete implementation of all stakeholder priorities.
  • Passion for and demonstrated excellence in people development and organizational leadership.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation, negotiation abilities or executive relationship experience
  • Positive, can-do spirit and proactive problem solver
  • Strong self-discipline and time management skills
  • Multitasker capable of switching easily and constantly between strategic and tactical work.
  • Well-developed decision-making skills. Creative, yet pragmatic. An independent thinker, adept at building consensus when it comes to executing decisions
  • Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, superior time management skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision are essential.
  • 50% Travel required

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Advertising or relative equivalent discipline
  • Masters preferred
  • Automotive Sales and Service with dealer contact and OEM experience a plus
  • Developing Training and Communications
  • Project management of multiple large and complex business process projects
  • Experience influencing others
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Leading direct report team members and coordination with other departments
