Job Description

Caesars Sportsbook is seeking a Public Relations Specialist - Sports & Online Gaming, who loves all sports, is full of ideas, and can thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment. Reporting to the Public Relations Director, Sports & Online Gaming, the PR Specialist will be tasked with assisting in the development of public relations strategies and campaigns that grow the brand, keep us top of mind, and announce the launches of our sports betting and gaming apps as we grow across the United States.
The sports & online gaming PR Specialist will be expected to draft press materials and handle multiple, diverse projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. The ideal candidate is an excellent writer, strategic thinker, detailed oriented and a self-starter who also has media contacts with local, regional, and national outlets.
This position will be based out of the corporate headquarters in Las Vegas.
What You Will Be Doing:
  • Identify and successfully pitch sports betting data/markets, campaigns and initiatives to media, local, national, and online publications; as well as respond to media requests for information and interviews
  • Create and edit press releases, talking points, and FAQs, etc.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with members of the press (broadcast, radio, print, online, blogs, trades, etc.)
  • Organize promotional events, press conferences, tours, and visits
  • Manage large-scale, high-visibility projects and possess excellent time management and organization skills, with a reputation for flawless execution and management
  • Develop and report on KPIs and other success measures, reporting on press coverage and feeding into the media mix model
  • Liaise with marketing, and digital/social teams, maintaining the flow of information across the various teams.
  • Manage relationships with outside public relations agencies and consultants
  • Manage the daily press clips process, prioritizing by importance

What You Will Need:
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Passionate about sports, gaming, marketing, and growing a
  • Sports, iGaming/casino experience preferred, with minimum of two (2) years of experience in PR or related field
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; strong copywriting and
    content creation skills
  • Up-to-date on latest industry trends; able to articulate trends and potential clearly
    and confidently
  • Established relationships with key media as well as the ability to build and maintain connections with key journalists and social media influencers
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, to meet tight deadlines with budgetary constraints and changing priorities (must be extremely flexible and versatile)
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously
  • You must successfully complete a background and drug screen

Essential Job Functions:
