We are seeking a high-energy, experienced Proposal Manager to help us win new business for the organization. We need a writer experienced in pulling together, updating, improving and maintaining content to help tell our story to a growing number of prospective clients.

Job Description

  • Maintain all corporate sales and marketing collateral and provide updates to sales and marketing teams.

  • Work to identify and source proposals related to government agencies, entities and both public and private companies who have a need for the services we provide.

    Prepare proposals and other collateral by gathering, editing, formatting and assembling client-facing written material including responses to Requests for Proposal, Requests for Information and Requests for Quotation (collectively RFx’s), Capability Statements, Fact Sheets and other media as assigned from time to time.

  • Improve the quality and consistency of corporate responses to formal RFx’s while making the process more efficient in handling the intake of invitations to bid, introducing requests into the current workflow, establishing assignments, prioritizing submissions, setting due dates for information gathering, reviewing and submitting drafts while gaining the requisite internal approvals.

  • Communicate promptly and consistently to the respective project leads and team members the current status of all RFx’s highlighting the important milestones and critical risks to winning bids.

  • Oversee the assembly, editing and formatting of the first through final drafts of all corporate proposals (including executive summaries) by gathering, evaluating and editing content ensuring that the final story is told in one voice.

  • Regularly update and maintain a database of approved content by ensuring it contains the most recent versions that have been sanctioned by the business unit, legal, and compliance teams.

  • Ensure consistency of content, quality and compliance across all formal submissions.

  • Partner with business unit leaders to pull in relevant content and appropriately shape stories.

  • Partner with the sales and marketing teams to design and package our outgoing responses.


  • 5+ years doing similar work in or outside of our target industries
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Ability to read, understand and edit content despite not having complete knowledge of the subject matter
  • Expert knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to closely collaborate with others and effectively work across business units and levels to craft a unified and compelling Altisource storyboard and image
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong and effective internal stakeholder relationships
  • Strong project management, organizational and time-management skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
